Played on 5-10 for the first time and WOW, what a layout. The back nine is amazing, especially the finishing 3 holes. I swear though, I had to fit at least 4 ball marks per green. The only disappointing thing about my round. Enjoy this course!!

I Played here last Friday. It seemed like we survived the course instead of playing it. We had wind gusts around 30-40MPH which really came into play on a course where shot placement is a premium. A lot of elevation changes and tough breaking greens keep you on your toes. Keep ball in play, take extra club on a lot of holes and pray if there is wind. Good course, good shape and good price. I see this course to be a place to play once all the new construction is finished.

Great course!!! The back nine has some of the most dramatic elevation changes compared to surrounding courses. The 18th hole is one of a kind. Front nine is average. Not that nice having construction equipment around and could use a pro shop aside from the trailor. Would reccommend the back nine. Dont walk it though, your knees will feel it!

i played the course on 4-19. the front 9 greens had been punched, but there was no sand so the greens played to somewhat normal speed. the back 9 had not been punched but hads not been cut either.still they were in decent shape.
the course is wide open with a modest rough so it's bombs away with the driver. 17 is a tight par 3 over a ravine and through some trees for a tough tee shot. 18 is a huge drop from tee to fairway for a cool finishing par 4. overall a fun course to play at a moderate price.

Played 3/25 and I'm not exactly sure if I played the same course these guys are talking about, but I was extremly dissapointed. Yes, the course is very nice to look at, but between all the construction equipment, and the construction workers telling everyone how their girlfriend was the night before was a bit too much. Also, there seems to be a lack of yardage markers and our cart was missing the pin location chart. This course has gone downhill since it opened maybe because of the price attracting the higher handicaps. One more thing, the lack of a clubhouse and indoor plumbing is also a bummer. I won't be back for a while.

I played on Friday (3/21) - and - I agree with koufax from Moorpark - the fairways are a little shaggy. So are the greens. Which is strange, because, when we tee'd off - it seems that every piece of groundskeeping equipment owned by the golf course was being used on the first hole. It was almost comical! Honestly there must have been 10 men riding on mowers and other equipment - and it was noisy! The rough is also long - it's brutal! But for pure beauty - it's hard to beat Trilogy! What a nice golf course! One complaint: Trilogy stopped taking GolfExtra Card 50%-off coupons on Fridays - no explaination - just - "we stopped". Bummer. Still worth the price!

Played on 3/14. It was in better shape when I played it a month ago. Greens were a little on the bumpy side. The fairways were a bit overgrown; maybe the wet weather caused them not to mow for a bit? The rough was consistent; a little long, but rough is supposed to penalize. The sand traps were also fine. I do like this course, but I was just a bit disappointed with the condition during this round. I'm sure it will be better next time around.
