This golf course looks like it was designed by 2 completely different course designers -- front 9 looks completely different from back 9. $69 for 18 holes but there isn't one ball washers on the course. Be careful, you may bend your divot tool by fixing ball marks. The green sits on bed of rocks, so as bunker -- I ding my brand new SW from getting the ball out. Super slow play and do expect your round to be well over 4:30hrs. The greens are in poor shape with bald spots all over the place. The fairways are decent but you can't drive your cart on most holes. NO GPS.

One thing good: Cart girl sure has some nice legs but she won't bring me back to the course. I'll miss her.

VERY VERY Slow Play and the Marshall didn't move things along after being told we were 2 hours into it on the 7th tee box. Made the turn in just under 3 hours, for an overall round of 5 1/2 hours (Sunday). Course is fair and should appeal to golfers of all skill levels. There are no amenities: Pay at a window, no clubhouse, limited food/beverage service, had to wait for a group that was finishing for a cart (went off 15 minutes past scheduled tee time), there is a beverage cart that also had sandwiches, no driving range, there is a putting green, outhouses at start, but no restrooms on course, water on course is in coolers at 2/$1 on the honor system (unique), and everyone was friendly. It would have been very worth the $69 weekend rate had the round taken an hour less time to complete. They appear inexperienced in course management and the course does not have the shine of something new.

Played 9-26-07. Started at 8am and was done by noon. Pace of play has been good both times I've played.

Played 9-26-07. Started at 8am and was done by noon. Pace of play has been good both times I've played.
I and my seven other playing partners enjoyed the course very much. No two holes are nearly the same and there's an excellent blend of easy-to-tough holes. With it being new, sure the greens aren't perfect, but I guarantee you no new course has perfect greens. The overall conditions are much better than Eagle Glen that is right across the freeway and costs twice as much. Sure, it may not have all the views of EG, (although the views at DL are very nice too), but it is in much better condition.
Not having a driving range or practice chipping/bunker area is a major bummer (especially if you show-up early for your tee time), but if you time it close, the putting green is sufficient.
Those that have complained probably hit balls in the very dense and unforgiving Bermuda rough, but that's what golf should be like when you drive it crooked,--hard.
I really hope those that didn't enjoy the course and say they won't be back stay true to their word. -More space for me and my fellow players.

The ladies that were there were the worst I have ever seen. The greens were pocked mark, For the slope this course is rated, only experienced golfers should be allowed. Also, what is with not being able to post your score? Not even a posting sheet. I say close it down until they are ready to serve the public.

I played Dos Lagos a couple of weeks ago. It was a disaster:

I played Dos Lagos a couple of weeks ago. It was a disaster:
- For having been open slightly more than a month, the greens were chewed up. Good luck making a putt
- Our round was over 5.5 hours. It was slow and go the whole way. What were the marshalls doing
- There were no ball washers on the tees.
- How about a water cooler every few holes? Instead, there are 'honor boxes' where you put in a buck and you can get a small bottled water

The course layout itself was very nice and the it's a challenging round. With sound attention to the shortcomings, this could be a very nice course.

Got out as a single. First time here. Green fee is good for a weekday, 45 bucks. No range, not good. No plans EVER for a range, mind-boggling. Oh well. Grab a cart and head to the first tee, hooked up with a 2some. Starter very nice, good. Starter wearing ripped jeans, not good. Blue tees not set up on some holes, not good. White's way too short. Front nine I almost got killed 3 times on 3 different greens/holes by flying golf balls whizzing past my head. Routing is unbelievably horrid. One time is understandable. Two more times is a complete joke. Fairways, tees and greens are decent, no complaints about the grass. Back nine opens up and tests your game with the wind. Cart girl came around alot, very good. Overall, price is right, but the golf is god awful, I give this place 2 years before they plow the place up and build more condos. No future for this place. The only saving grace about this place is, the more people that play here, the less people there will be at the places I love to play at like Eagle Glen, Goose Creek, and Empire Lakes.

Played on 9/23, beautiful day, nice course, but terribly disorganized way to run a course, no clubhouse, no food, no coffee w/ cart girl, no driving range. We checked in at 8:20 for a 9:00 tee time, there was no carts available and had to wait about 10 minutes for a dirty cart, went to the starting tee, and find that there were about 10 other carts waiting. Finally got to tee off at 9:30 after checking several times with starter. If you want to know what disorganized system, this is it. Course was nice, with exceptionally large green area, but should have more distance marker -only ones available on cart paths (Blue, white and Red). For the money I would rather go to the other nearby course- Trilogy, Eagle Glen, Hidden Valley, etc.

Neat layout, every hole is very different than the others, hit a different club on every par 3, from a Pitching Wedge on #8 to a 5 wood on #11. Great to play a course that doesn't have houses on each side of every fairway, very picturesque and price is great.
