My first time here and it was a blast for me and the three I was paired in with.
The courese was relatively flat, but I just loved the couse a lot. The teeing grounds were nice and lush. I wouldn't say it's beat up at all- it was fair. The fairways were just fine with some occational unfiled divots but then again it's fait and plays well. The two greenside bunkers and a fairway bunker I was in had some good quality sand in them. The Greens were nice and rolled quick and true- bent grass.
On the negative side are the duck/koots poop were all over makingit unpleasantly gross. Other than that, the course conditions were nice and just fine.

I think I'r like to come back and play it again.
$38 with a cart.

POP with our group was 4.5 hours. The Mrs. Was a beginner and had good and bad holes, and at times she was out of place. Not that big a deal. Just added extra waiting. But all in all was fun.

Played 12/29 as a single, paired up with 2 guys visiting from Sweden and another from Seattle. Teed off about 12:30, cold weather created a "Frostgun" for everyone that had a morning time - after the 3rd hole the course was nearly vacant. Unfortunately, "Seattle" was all over the place and one of the Swedes was playing the "Magical Mysterious Disappearing Golf Ball" so what should have been about a 3:45 round became a 4:30 plus round (however, I think I can now recognize the Swedish phrase for "WERE THE F*&$ IS MY BALL! LOL) Course was in amazingly good condition given the frost delay and general cold weather of the last few days. Couple of fairways were a little thin and the sand was pretty packed, but the greens were outstanding! (and as usual, VERY fast). Cart girl was around 3 times, guys in the Pro Shop were very helpful and informative re: conditions, length of delay and what to expect. Biggest complaint was the range was really chewed up. Very narrow hitting area defined by ropes and it was actually hard to find a clean grassy lie without having a lousy stance in the middle of a bunch of divots (or vice versa). Still can't beat the value - $32 walk up after noon on weekdays (weekday morning prime time is only $35 for seniors, which they classify as 55 and up). Anything nearby of comparable quality is $55 or more and a lot more crowded.

Played Thurs 12/19 @ 6:56am for $29 via GolfNow off of my Golflogix app. Weather was chilly (low 40's) and a slight wind which had zero affect on the round. Tee boxes are very good but, grass was a bit long. Fairways are in great shape...looks like a green carpet from the tee box. Rough is cut back to around 3" and no trouble to get out of. Green were very receptive due to the rain the day before. The speed was fast despite the rain and were mostly smooth.
I really enjoy playing here and it makes it tough to go anywhere else when the course is in great condition and the price is right. Playing here again Tuesday 12/23 as a matter of fact.

Played the Saturday Morning, 11/22. I've played this course a few times and this is hands down, the best condition I've seen this course in. The fairways are clean, greens are consistent, and they've managed to keep the pesky ducks off the rough and in the ponds(if you've played here, you know what I mean, ducks are big problem for this course). The course is a throwback to more traditional courses with holes bordering one another and tee boxes right next to greens. This comes in very handy with pace of play, and for a Saturday Morning at 9am, our foursome finished right at 4 hours. The biggest downside to the course is outside a few holes on the front nine and 2-3 holes on the back, it's lacking that "it" factor. All the par 5's are dog leg rights with water/sand/trees protecting the right hand side of the landing area, and I used the same club on 3 different par 3's.. not a whole lot of variety. However, while you get the mountain views on many holes, the architect did a great job not making this a "mountain course." There's plenty of landing areas to hit your ball, and you are generally rewarded for a good shot.

That being said, I highly recommend Soboba Springs as you can't beat the value ($47 on weekend AM, much better during the week or at twilight) and the views of the mountain range are spectacular. One of my Inland Empire favorites.

Played 11/8 at noon, $32 GN deal. Got out on time, but slow groups ahead made for a 5 hour round. Not unexpected for weekend twilight so no worries.

The course is in TV condition. Would look right at home on TGC with pros, crowds, etc. Maybe too much so...the rough was so gnarly we could have used some spectators or spotters on more than one occasion! Lost a couple in the rough. There were a few unfilled fairway divots but I got lucky and didn't end up in one. Bunkers and tee boxes were great. The greens were quick and smooth until right before dusk; as it cooled down they really softened up and got really bumpy from footprints that remained from previous groups.

Played the course for both the first and second time on October 8th & 9th. Course is very well maintained, and the starter was courteous and professional. Greens were soft, and yet fast, with many subtle breaks. Fairways were in good shape, but some golfer refused to fill there divots (but that happens at all public courses). Price for play was great, which is a bit of a reward for making the commitment to drive there. Pace of play was good. There is nothing but positives for this course, as the clubhouse was wonderful, and food was enjoyable. Locker room provided showers. I'll definitely be back.

Played both last week and this week after the course reopened from overseeding, etc. NOW is the time to play here, current conditions are excellent! Last weeks rough was a little much (actually found a putter someone lost next to the 15th green - since we were the 2nd group and nobody came back for it I can only guess how long it had been there!). This week it was long and thick, but not THAT long.

Got paired up with a Father/Son twosome, turned out the son was 1runnner from on here - that young man has some serious game! (and Dad ain't bad either). POP was just over 3 hours and we didn't hurry.

If you've played here before, liked the course and want to play it again, or have wanted to play but never have, don't wait, it won't get any better than it is right now.

Played Soboba on Friday 10/24 at 7am. Course is looking good after over-seeding. Love this course, always have. Greens are in great shape. Rough was long and tough, hard to find your ball right off the bat. Fairways had not come in completely after the over-seeding, only part of the course that wasn't in great shape, another week or two and this course will be fantastic. Will be back soon.

Played on 09/07/2014 and 09/02/2014.

This course is the best bargain in the area. Even with the heat the course is in terrific shape.

Pace of play is typically UNDER 4 hours during the week.
