My wife and I played there on Sunday, December 12th and found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. They use a shotgun type start on weekends which gets everyone on the course and playing at a reasonably time. Course is in great shape and the greens were fast and lush. I will definitely make the drive to play here again.

Stopped for a quick round (10/15) during my drive from L.A. to Vegas. It was convenient since it was just off the I-15. I decided on the spur of the moment to stop and golf at all instead of just driving straight to Vegas. Am I glad I did, I was pleasantly surprised by the fun layout and decent conditions. It was playing brutally tough with 30+ mph winds and thickkkk rough but all tha same I loved the challenge and had a blast even though my score was not up to my best. I recommend to everyone to try this course next time they take the drive to Vegas and have a little time.

I only played the back nine but what a treat. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. I played late in the afternoon and finished nine in about an hour and fifteen minutes (walking). The twilight rate is unbeatable after 5:00 it is only $5.00 to play. Nice layout that is very easy to walk and again in perfect shape.

THIS IS A GREAT COURSE TO GO TO WITH YOUR BUDDIES. KICK BACK AND HAVE A VERY ENJOYABLE ROUND OF GOLF.

While I don't think I'd ever drive all the way from Pasadena to Victorville JUST to play the Green Tree track, I gotta say that it was a pleasant surprise!! Played on a Saturday (not usually my style - I hate long rounds!) early morning (8:30 A.M. starting time) - we were in Victorville for the Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass Festival - and finished in four hours! The people who play there regularly seem to have a great respect for both their course and the pace of play! The group in front of us kept out-in-front, and we felt no pressure from behind! What a pleasure! The course itself, while not a particularly challenging layout, is a fun test of golf. The mature trees and not-too-wide fairways certainly reward a straight tee-shot! As we are now entering the halfway point of 2004 (we played Green Tree on June 19th) - I can honestly say that the greens there are the very best I have played on this year!! And it's not just the putting....these greens were soft enough to hold even fairway-wood shots well....and you could actually back balls up with 9-irons and wedges if you needed to! The putting was smooth, fairly fast and the greens were really beautiful! The greenskeeper there should be given a special citation for a job well done! That's the good news. Now the "bad" (and it really wasn't SO bad!)....some of the fairways were waaaay too over-watered! Downright "soggy" in some places. There were a couple of tee-boxes that were not exactly level....and two or three were pretty carved-up with un-filled divots. But the splendid greens made up for any of that! If you find yourself in Victorville, give Green Tree a try! You won't be sorry that you did! On a scale of five-stars, Green Tree gets a solid FOUR!!
