Tee boxes for the most part were level and in good shape. Greens rolled fairly fast and true and fairways were in good shape. Rough is a little short this time of year, so not very penal. Despite the bad reviews by others in the past, I've always found this an enjoyable layout that is usually maintain very well. The pro shop staff was very friendly and the pace of play was excellent - around 4 hours. No marshalls or cart girls were present, but found nothing else to complain about.

Played this course for the first time with my wife on 2/28/12. Found the course to be in great shape and really enjoyed the round despite the cold, windy weather. The tee boxes were level, and the fairways in good shape considering the time of year. Green rolled true and were moderately fast. The key to the course is positioning. Unfortunately, it was our first time there and we frequently found ourselves out of position. The staff and especially the marshall were very friendly and helpful. The marshall checked in with us often and probably saved us a couple of stokes with his advice. Looking forward to playing here again soon.

Played this course on Aug. 30th. We were very impressed with the staff and service. The course was in great shape. The fairways are generous and the greens are hugh. That's where the charity ends however as these are some of the most challenging greens I've played. Three putts are not uncommon as it seems every green has swales and large breaks to contend with. There are a number of ESA's also, so wild shots will result in lost balls. Overall, this is one of the best values around and I intend to plya here again very soon.
Played this course with my wife on September 9th starting at 8:30. The pace of play was surprisingly fast for a Saturday morning as we were done in under 4 hours. The course itself is in great shape with lush fairways, consistent well kept rough and level tee boxes. The only possible complaint was the sand which went from damp to downright wet and made sand aves more difficult than they needed to be. The course is tough but fair with elevated tee boxes and greens. The mature treeline demands an accurate tee shot or you'll be playing ping pong with the tree trunks all day. This is one of the best bargains in So Cal.
My wife and I played this course on Tuesday, 4/25, for the first time. What a pleasure. The course is in great shape and we found the greens to be fast and true. The course is a real challenge and is very penal for errant shots. Accuracy and proper club selection are a must. Can not wait to return.
This is a great course well worth the green fees. The only complaint is early morning wetness. Having played the course several times, I feel this is due to over watering since it is a persistent problem. Once the greens dry out however, they are fast and true. There is enough water and sand to provide a challenge to all levels, but the forward tee boxes provide an enjoyable outing for the novice.
My wife and I played this course on January 22nd and had a blast. The course was in generally good condition, although there were a few wet spots in the fairways. The greens were fast and true and the tee boxes were level and in good condition. The fairways are generous, but the rough is penal. Stay in the fairways, and you'll have a good round. Stray, and you will likely lose your ball in one of the many water hazards that guard the course. The staff was friendly and cooperative. This is definitely a course I look forward to playing again.
My wife and I played there on Sunday, December 12th and found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. They use a shotgun type start on weekends which gets everyone on the course and playing at a reasonably time. Course is in great shape and the greens were fast and lush. I will definitely make the drive to play here again.
