Played May 27th, course in decent shape, slow as can be, cost is good, but boy the clientele, saw 2 shouting matches, and on number 11, some inked up low-life, drives off of 17th tee into 11 fairway, picks up my marked ball, claims it is his, until he sees the mark, and then threatens to start something, only his other inked up punk friend saved his ... what a shame, that this is what golf has become, keep your eyes open when you play here in the future, used to be a great place to play, but it looks like UFC...

Been playing here for fifteen years. It has definitely been in better shape, but it is still the best layout in the High Desert (and most of San Berdo). There are some thin lies and the bunkers are pretty firm, but the (mostly smooth) greens are rolling quick, and the firm fairways give you good lies.

Same ol' thing about Hesperia GC: Miss the fairways and you will pay the price. Lots of old trees, a sandy and rocky wash, and inconsistent rough will add strokes. Hit the fairways and you will score very well.

Always remember though that from April - July, the wind blows (10 - 25 mph) just about everyday after noon. Makes this place a real golf course where you have to be sensible and know how to hit a punch shot.

Played on Friday, 3/16, overall course is in very good shape. The greens were running slow since they were going to punch them on the weekend. With coupon it was $29.00 green fee included hot dog and drink, plus all the golf you could play. This is one of the finest layouts within a 50 mile radius. Old fashion design, tree lined fairways, well placed bunkers, many options to get the ball on the green. Once greens heal from aeration this is a must play, though it is a drive, made more tedious by work on the 15 Fwy. If you like the layout at Soboba Springs or Los Serranos than this is the course for you. During summer the greens are usually prestine and quick. Look for coupon discounts and enjoy a good day of golf, out of the smog and away from the infamous 5+ hour weekend round of golf.

i have never seen so many broken tees on the tee boxes in my life...it was terrible...they need someone to go to each tee box and pick them up...tee boxes were dirt, fairways were trimmed back so far it was mostly hard pan lies....also at 1000am on a sunday morning there were no range balls to hit...would be a half an hour to pick em up so we could buy some to hit....they need some major help there....embarassment to the guys on the front of the scorecard!!!!!

Long enough from the blues,greens are in terrific shape,fairways good, evrything ya need for a good day of golf. We had a 8 AM tee time,never saw anyone in front of us. This AM was 30 minutes from 15/210 frwy area. For $32 this is a very nice deal.
