Played 11/6/12 and course is looking great. Greens were pretty smooth and fast but had some ball marks and bare areas around the edges. Practice green was just as fast but that didn't seem to help me out too much in the beginning. Fairways were awesome other than the fact there was no sand/mix on the carts to fill divots. Rough was good all throughout but a little patchy in areas that can make for a bad lie. Tee boxes flat but a little thin and chewed up. Sand was great and pace of play was just under 3:45 for a foursome.

This course is a good half hour from me but a favorite semi local course. Good layout, typically a good pace, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Greens right now are lightening fast, even uphill. Tee box... Continue »

This course is a good half hour from me but a favorite semi local course. Good layout, typically a good pace, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Greens right now are lightening fast, even uphill. Tee boxes were fine. Rough was pretty nice to hit from, and I had my fair share of these. Many will give you flyer lies which is nice when you are playing against the breeze. Fairways were good in areas and patchy in others. Bunkers were very fluffy, which is a style i prefer. Played at twilight, 2nd group out, only waited a handful of times. Join the email club and get your discounts. Played for $29 riding, which is great for what you get here.

Played first off on Monday (10/31) so pace was not an issue. The course is in the best condition I have ever seen it! The fairways were as nice as any I have played - anywhere! Greens were very nice, not perfect, but well above average and better than I remember them being. Bunkers were "hit & miss". Other than a small issue with the guy behind the counter, everything was excellent!

Played in a tournament on Saturday morning, 10/13/12, on a warm clear that quickly got hot. Saw on GK that the course was recently aerating greens, but all greens were in very good shape - receptive, medium fast and rolling well. Only the putting green was recently punched, which messed with my putt speed for the first few holes.

Rough was generally benign but could be deep in scattered areas and around greens. Sand in good condition, tees level and not torn up. Saw marshals and cart girl multiple times. Pace about normal for a Saturday afternoon - ~5 hrs. Range had both grassy areas and mats available, although the number of hitting areas is limited. Enough water available on a hot day. Good breakfast burrito. Recommended.

Played yesterday 9/27/12 in a shotgun tourney. Course is in good shape but starting to aerate. Only a couple greens were fully punched and sanded and a couple others were only punched around the edges. Course also slit the greens possibly a week or two back and were still visible but didn't really affect any putts. Greens were soft and medium speed and a little bumpy due to the soft conditions and some people not fixing ball marks but still rolled smooth on most holes. Fairways were very lush, Bermuda rough was thick, lush and tough to hit out of when the ball sits down at the bottom. Wasn't in any bunkers but sand looked plentiful and well groomed. Tee boxes are great but par 3's were a little chewed up. Not the toughest course but has some great holes that make this course very enjoyable time after time.

Played 8-29-12 with our group of 15.

Another very nice round at one of the well-kept courses in SoCal.

Management: From checking in to the first tee, the people working there are polite, organized and helpful. After the round the bar is a great place to settle-up.

Greens: First couple holes were pretty pock-marked, but rolled smooth and were medium-fast. The rest of the greens were in excellent shape.

Fairways: Very good to excellent throughout.

Rough: Very consistent 2-3 inches and lush.

Bunkers: Wish everyone else in the IE had bunkers this good! Plenty of sand and well-kept.

Overall: We have been playing here for years on a bi-monthly basis and even though it isn't the toughest track, it is probably one of the best-kept courses around.

Tee time at 9:15AM on a hot sunny Sunday, 9/2/12, with almost no wind. COURSE MANAGEMENT FAIL!!! as a Men's Club shotgun at 7:30 had too many players, but the pro shop accommodated them and the other scheduled tee times were DELAYED without notice. We were told at 9:30 that it would be another 30 minutes before we could tee off on #1. So they sent us off #9!; then we played the back nine and finished 8 holes of the front. Just like the architect didn't design it!

Greens were in good shape, some with many ballmarks, some with a few bare spots around the edges. OK lies in fairways, rough benign, sand in good shape but damp and heavy. Tees OK. Casual water in some waste areas. Pace Ok after frustrating delay and weird start.

Driving range was a total mess. Only a few mats on one side - on the other side, patrons were put onto a narrow strip of torn up "grassy" area between the cart path and a bare area for the mats. Lies were patchy and stances uneven. The larger area of the range was severely torn up with divots and rough usage - altogether, very poor facilities provided for golfers.

Saw cart girl several times. Marshalls buzzing about. Plenty of water available. I like this course, but golfers making good-faith reservations are screwed with no recourse, and some facilities were unacceptable.

Played 9-2 with a 11:30 tee time we got out about 10 minutes late. We were a 4 ball behind a 2 ball the twosome had to wait on almost every hole for the foursome of ladies ahead of them who were REALLY SLOW so that backed us up on the front nine. The back moved along at a good pace. Overall we finished in 4:30 the tee. Boxes were a mixed bag mostly level and ok but some were beat up. Fairways were good mostly lush with good roll out The greens with the exception Of the first 5 ( really beat up and slow) where good medium speed and consistent
I really like this track and will be back again
