Course is in great shape. The greens are quick so beware and try your best to stay below the hole. Fairways were also in good shape for being int he winter months. It also appeared that they recently added new sand to the bunkers which was quite soft and a lot of it. I've never seen this course in bad shape and it didn't disappoint today.

Played Saturday early, course in great shape. Tee boxes were level and good grass on them. The fairways were really nice to hit off of. Greens held the ball well and rolled nicely. No comment on bunkers as I did not need to escape any. Enjoyed the layout of this course. There was no wind out here Saturday morning, made for a good experience. Beverage cart came by once and was great service from her and the starter.

Played Sat. 11-5. I was supposed to play on Sun. down in orange county but with the rain in the forecast I decided to see what i could find last minute on Sat. Got a $33 tee time @12:15 from golf now.
Got to the course a little early to warm up and it was packed. We did not tee off until almost 1:15. And it was backed up behind us. It took 5 hrs. to finish just as it was getting dark. We must have been about the last group to be able to finish.
With the exception of 2 or 3 greens which still haven't completely healed the course is in very nice condition. tee boxes were level and you could find plenty of spots to tee it up.
Fairways are cut just right and despite the recent rain not soggy. You got a good roll if you hit the short stuff. The rough was thick and really grabbed the club so you really had to take you medicine if you ended up there.
The starter was really doing all he could to get people out but someone seriously overbooked the course today! a lot of people were upset and rightly so.

Played Sat.10-15. I called Fri. and asked if they had started any maintenance yet and was told "not until Tuesday" Well that was a lie! they have punched the first 5 greens! Bumpy-sandy-really hard to putt on.The rest of the greens where in good shape but some had quite a few unrepaired ball marks.
The tee boxes where good mostly level and not to long. The fairways where great! No thin lies and not fluffy.
They have put new sand in the bunkers and man are they tough! I was in two and both times had plugged lies. One I could barely see the ball.
The pro shop and starter are always great here. No cart on the front nine, maybe we were to early(tee'd off @6:45) but she came by 3 times on the back.
Overall a good day and I will be back in a few weeks after things have healed up.

Played in a scramble tournament on 9/27/11. Course was in pretty good shape for going into overseeding and aeration. Only 3 or 4 greens had been punched and a couple were already healing very well. One was freshly punched and sanded and made for a pretty bumpy putt. Tee boxes weren't in the best of shape but were seeded, some greens had some ball mark damage and a few bare spots around the edges. Greens that haven't been aerated yet putt very well and fast. Pins were super tucked on a few holes and even though the rest were easier to aim at they were still very well placed. I was only in one sand trap and it was perfect soft sand and plenty of it and all the rest looked good as well. Fairways were in perfect condition as well as the rough. Customer service is always great here and the food we had after the round was excellent.

I'm so glad our group made the drive to play here. Sunday 1145 tee time and finished in 345. Unbelievable! And that is with a 5 some 2 groups ahead.

I'm so glad our group made the drive to play here. Sunday 1145 tee time and finished in 345. Unbelievable! And that is with a 5 some 2 groups ahead.

Greens were a bit bumpy from poorly repaired marks and in need of a rolls. Fairways, tees, rough, and sand were all in great conditions. Marshalls were friendly and suggested us to hit 2 balls...but didn't want to hurt my round by losing focus. I teed it forward and had a great time...best score in awhile.

Nice track and not too hard if you stay out the rough. Will be back soon!

Played this course for the first time last Friday afternoon (11:30) and liked it very much. Went as a single and was on the tee box 5 minutes after I paid. The fairways are bordered by hills on most holes with thick rough. Don't expect your ball to bounce back in play. The tee boxes were in good shape as well as the fairways. green side bunkers were almost too soft with lots of fluffy sand. They were not smooth, but I don't know if it's because of too much sand or player not knowing how to rake, either way, they were tough. The greens are soft and SLOW. I hate slow greens, so I need to try and be bias about my opinion on them. Since they were slow they did not break much, best to aim at the hole and hit your putt firm. There are 5 set's of tee's, so finding the one to match your game, is ideal. The par three's on the front are guarded by water in the front and false fronts. Best to hit to the back of the green and get out of there with two putts fro par. The pace could of been a little better, but not bad. The cart girl came by numerous times, great on a hot day. Staff was great. it is a hour drive for me, but I will be back again and again. Hopefully with faster greens.
