Played yesterday afternoon for the very first time with JohnnyGK. Beautiful course with a great layout. Wide open fairways on most holes yet the course plays longer into the prevailing wind. Love the par 3's and par 5's here. Well-maintained course except for the many unrepaired ballmarks on the greens. Finished in 4 hours and will be back soon. BTW, JohnnyGK shot a 77 yesterday, very impressive considering it's his first time playing Sierra Lakes. Way to go, JohnnyGK!

Marshall asking our foursome to speedup when we wait on the fairway 5 to 10 minutes for group in front to get out of the green. The group after us were a hole and a half behind. Yet the marshall kept asking us to push the foursome in front. Then lies to us that we were way behind on the 10th tee. So we skip the snack bar only to find the group in front figuring out what to do on their second shots. Told the Pro Shop and was told that is the Marshall's job. No concern showed for customer, I guess that is the last time they will see my dollar.

Love this course! It's always in great shape and is very forgiving. You can get in trouble if you miss the fairway on the wrong side, or if you short-side yourself on the green; but most mis-hits are ... Continue »

Love this course! It's always in great shape and is very forgiving. You can get in trouble if you miss the fairway on the wrong side, or if you short-side yourself on the green; but most mis-hits are easy to recovery from. I played here on 6/30, teeing off at 8:30. We waited on almost every shot, but it only took us about 4 1/2 hours to play. Donovan Daily always has discounts for this course. Be sure to sign up at their website or you'll pay too much.

Played today 6/17,8AM,got out early, course in great shape,traps a bit wet,hard sand, its too bad that there are soooo many lazy ^%%$$# folks that refuse to repair ball marks. Sierra Lakes has the type of greens that if not repaired properly leave an ugly mark. Good greens, bad golfers. Good day,friendly staff, we will be back.
