Fairways were in excellent condition. This must be because it was cart path only, which they failed to tell me when I made the reservation. The greens were very damaged from players who don't repair their all marks. I guess I expect too much when it comes to respecting the course and the game, or too many people expect too little. Aside from these two criticisms, the course was a great layout, in great condition for this hot time of year.

Course in good shape. No signs of recent aeration. Ball really flies here. Used one club less all morning. Don't care about the snack shop. Ate breakfast at home. Don't care about the driving range either. Can fall out of bed and still hit a 5 iron 200 yards down the center of the fairway which all you need on the first hole. No second class treatment at this course. I'm 15 to 30 years younger than my playing partners, but they still extended the same low rate to me as they did to my older playing partners. Makes me feel like they appreciate me driving from Anaheim to play their course. No annoying, panhandling club washers either and you can even drive the cart to your car to put your clubs away at the end of your round. Normally, I'm a huge complainer, but this was a great place to play golf and I played well too.

The greens are punched, the fairways being worked on, they had us play the back nine twice today. I had no problem with that since I love the back nine! For those looking to play the course for the first time I suggest playing else where until the fairways are back to normal and the greens have healed. It's a great coures I highly reccomend - but not right now.

One of our favorites,today no exception,they are getting ready to plug fairways,play now or wait a little while,service is very good,both inside and on the course,two small things to think about, driving range is NEVER open for early tee times and cant get anything to eat before 8 AM. Play Sierra Lakes quite often. Fairways are wide and forgiving. You can go for the bomb on most holes and not worry about being off a little on the accuracy. Greens are well manicured but need everyone to repair their ballmarks. Gets crowded on weekends. Good suggestion is early, early morning tee before rush. Super-Twilight is a great price right now $25. Stay away from Friday twilight tho, quite a wait at the first tee on those days. All in all, love the course. Great time playing there.
