We played on Sunday 11-7-04. Course in good shape, excellent service. Light drizzle all day, but fun. Course is challenging and fun. Drink cart is great. No waiting! Tee times are every 20 minutes. Downside is 50 minute drive from LA. We will be returning, but not too often as $90/round can put a dent the bank account.

After reading the other reviews of the course, I was expecting a great course to play with great views and I wasn't dissapointed at all. I will definately be going back to play the course again, and with a little course knowledge now, hopefully the scoring will be down.

Played Friday morning, greens are in great shape now. Actually the whole course is in great shape.

Agree with WIRELESS fix the ball marks and sand your divots.

I played the course twice in the past two weeks; one in the afternoon and the other in the early morning - both during the week. Both times as a two some and got around in 3 hours both times. Course is in great shape. Agree that playing a few times will help out score. Check out the playing tips as they are pretty good. The course is very wet in the mornings and the greens hold better, so shoot at the flags. In the afternoon they firm up so you need to be about 1/2 a club short for ball release. The front side is tighter and back side opens up. The only thing I would like the management to do is to add flag locations for the day on the carts, other than that a well run and well maintained course.

Played TR on 9/4 for the first time. Very nice course and everyone working was very friendly. As some other reviewers have mentioned, course knowledge is very helpful. Greens today were smooth, receptive and a bit on the fast side. Tee boxes and fairways were in good condition. Was a little windy today but overall a very nice course. Will definitely return.

Played here 8/27 for the first time in 3 or 4 years. Got right on and there was no one in front or behind. The course is in really, really good shape. The fires last year burned out lots of the brush so that not all balls that miss the fairway are goners now. The greens are as nice as you'll find anywhere. Green, well maintained, subtle and smooooth. The people there are extremely friendly and accomodating. Course knowledge is worth probably 3 or 4 strokes a round, and there are a couple of holes that should be plowed under and redesigned to eliminate the blind tee shots. If this course was $15-$20 cheaper, you'd probably have to wait in line for a tee time. All things said and done, a great day.
