Played Sunday 8/22, 7:20 tee time; played as a foursome 4 hrs. I was mildly disappointed in the conditions. Greens were consistently pockmarked with unhealed ball marks, making for bumpy putting. Fairways were a bit ratty, and soggy in many areas. Divots not filled in in the fairway. This used to be an excellent course that cost about $75 to play. Now it's a decent course for a more reasonable rate of $49 incl cart and balls. It is such a great track, but the conditions are so-so. Certainly playable, and for the price, it's a good round. But you get what you pay for I guess.

I played this course on Friday the 23rd. Tip for early birds! First 3 groups out pay $30 including cart. That's a great deal for any course. This Johnny Miller design is a test for any golfer. Overall the course was in good shape. Fairways were lush. Greens had some divot damage, but not enough to say they're in bad shape (very playable). The greens were medium fast and rolled nicely. The scenery is amazing. Truely a beautiful course and even the weekend rates make this a good choice for your golf dollar.

THis course has gotten quite a bit better this spring and summer (especially the greens). They are now pretty smooth and have enough pace on them that you don't want to miss above most holes. This is one of the toughest layouts and will truly test your ability to think your way around the course in order to score well. If you can shoot anywhere near your index, you've done very well.

Played the course a year ago and liked it very much. Went back January 2010 and it was like a different course. The greens and fairways were in horrible shape. They let like 5 groups out at the same time. 20 Minute wait on every tee. Had to leave after the 13th hole because I couldn't take it anymore. I hope they can straighten out whatever issues they are having with the course conditioning because when the conditions are good it is a very solid track. Won't be returning until then though.

One half of each green had been aereiated and sanded with the other half of each green to be done in another week ? Never seen this done before and it made for really nasty putting surfaces one half fast the other sandy and slow. Tee boxes were very sandy and in poor condition. This used to be one of the premier golf courses in the area now needs lots of work. Mike

Good country club feel for a muni price. Great customer service, F&B, and practice facility. Solid design and good maintenance tee to green. Tuesday 17 Nov, 11:30 tee, 2ball following several twosomes. Tees currently being reseeded and worked on (end Nov will be fine), fairways firm and fast, sand very good, rough in good shape, greens excellent and demand accurate approach shots to prevent 3 putts. No drinks cart today (very quiet), sufficient rest stops and water stations. Amazing design with lots of challenge from any tee. Hold on holes 10 thru 15!!!!! Very much worth a look.

Played here 8/17/09 for the first time and have to say it is a very nice course. Bring your A game off the tees or you will be in for a long day. Has alot of very scenic and unique holes. Really narrow fairways that will test even the most skilled golfers. I think playing it again i will enjoy it even more as there are quite a few holes that have blind shots. Overall it is a great course, one of the best I have played in the area. This and also Darkhorse being the 2 best.

Greens are quick, holding and demand approach shot accuracy. Tees, sand (very good), fairways, and rough all in prime condition at the moment. Good staff,excellent practice facilities and food and beverage give a country club feel for a muni price. Worth the drive.

The course conditions are good, especially the bunkers. And the course is very scenic. But it feels like the course was squeezed into some very tight areas. The greens are oddly-shaped, many shots are blind, and yardage is difficult to determine (no gps and very few sprinkler heads were marked). Although the course is beautiful, I am unlikely to return. Pace of play was decent.
