Had a small family/friends Easter tourney here yesterday. Course is punching greens next week Mon/Tues so the greens were not optimal. Traps were all playable. Tees as well. Fairways were dry but still had decent coverage. Very little rough to speak of around the course. They are also currently rolling out new carts as they arrive. Much needed. Excellent customer service in the shop by Julius and his staff as always. And great selection of food available in the restaurant afterwards.

Played this AM. Have never seen the course look this good. The clean up that most likely took place yesterday had everything spotless. Nice clean/lush tee boxes. Groomed/mowed fairways with good lies ... Continue »

Played this AM. Have never seen the course look this good. The clean up that most likely took place yesterday had everything spotless. Nice clean/lush tee boxes. Groomed/mowed fairways with good lies and roll out. Rough cut down and playable. Traps all raked and ready for play. Greens were in top shape for chipping, putting and holding/releasing shots. A very enjoyable round of golf topped off by excellent customer service in the shop from Madison and Christian along with Rich who handles the cart barn. Now if they can find more staff perhaps they can open the grill on Mon/Tues like they do Wed-Sun.

Played this morning. Course is in great shape at the moment. All clean and repaired tee boxes. Traps all raked and ready for play. Fairways have good coverage after the rains and good roll out. Rough is not thick but it is sticky in the early AM but playable. Greens are in terrific shape and chip/putt with good speed. As always great customer service in the shop (thx Mateo and Christian) and from all other staff members. Restaurant opened Wed - Friday and the menu is good, prices are great as well as the service from Dolores and her staff.

Got out today before the rain. Course is continuing to improve as witness to the ongoing maintenance and condition of the course. All tee boxes have been mowed and are very playable. Fairways continue... Continue »

Got out today before the rain. Course is continuing to improve as witness to the ongoing maintenance and condition of the course. All tee boxes have been mowed and are very playable. Fairways continue to fill in and are providing great, good, better lies and very good roll out. Traps are kept cleaned and are playable and some (not all) are learning to use rakes. Not much rough to deal with and what there is is playable. Greens are in very nice shape at the moment (so don't aerate them please) and chip/putt extremely well with decent speed and players and maintenance seem to do a good job repairing ball marks. As always great customer service from the shop, cart barn and maintenance employees.

Played today. Course is shaping up very nicely. Tee boxes all mowed, cleaned and in great shape. Fairways all mowed, cleaned and beginning to fill in so lies are improving and roll out is very good. Traps are kept cleaned so playing early is premium for best shape and all new sand in them has improved them completely. Very little rough to deal with so that is a plus. Greens have come back from aeration and fungus removable to be really great on all 18. Customer service continues to be A+ and the restaurant is serving good food at very reasonable prices.

Played today. Course is still damp and needs a lot of drying out. Tee boxes were mowed but not cleaned but no issues. Fairways are still soft so no roll out at all. Traps surprisingly are playable but still need players to use rakes. Rough was still damp in some areas but not penal. Greens are some good/some bad relative to speed and lots of unrepaired divots. Hard to be to harsh on the course given the recent rains. Maintenance is working to clean it up and with more sunshine it shoud be much more playable. Great customer service from Christian, Madison and Rich.

Played this morning. All the damage from the recent storm has been cleaned. Some holes look entirely different with the trees taken out. Overall the course is in decent playing shape. Tee boxes are still filled with grass and clean. Fairways have many dry areas due to lack of rain (which is supposed to come tomorrow) and I noticed they had watered quite a bit overnight since the last time I was here. But they give great roll out and you do get an occacionally good lie on some grass. Traps are all in good shape with the new sand but players don't rake especially those who play on weekends and today it showed. Little to no rough to deal with. Greens are in very nice shape presently. They are firm, putt/chip well and have good speed. But again weekend players left a lot of divots from Sun play. Customer service still continues to be great from every employee encountered. To bad the restaurant only open for full menu Wed to Friday.

Played today in very chilly conditions at the start but warmed up after front 9. Its winter and cold and the course is showing it. Best part of the course presently are the greens. In very nice shape and they will hold shots and release shots but any low flyers will send you off the green. They have some good speed especially from above the hole. Tee boxes are good but need cutting. Sand traps have all new sand but players are not raking and many of them need turning as they are becoming hard. Fairways have become very dormant with many bare areas and thin lies. Rough is dormant as well but able to find your ball and advance not a problem. The customer service is and continues to be excellent from all employees encountered.

Played today after the course reopening from wind damage. The course lost a total of 18 trees. Tremendous amount of debris to still clean up. The course itself is very dry and the fairways are hard and most have thin lies but plenty of roll. Tees ok and traps also. Greens are firm and hard and plenty fast. Basically it needs a lot of TLC and water. But they have a great maintenance crew and they will get it back in shape in time.
