They sanded greens on course. Minor maintenance to speed up greens.

Greens still bumpy but getting faster than the slow greens. I still don't understand what they are doing here all I can see is they do maintenance in the afternoons. Their idea of cutting the greens is running a mower over it time and again. Someone needs to check those blades b/c they are dull and not doing a decent enough job of cutting down the greens. Alot of them are still bumpy with bare patches on them, especially Hole 4. Pace of play OK. Fairways OK. Not a lot of trouble just mature trees. Rough is not as thick but watch out for hidden roots. Sand is OK.

Not bad if you have to pay $8.50 for twilight. Bring your Anti mosquito spray b/c when the wind dies down you get them swarming all over you like they did to me the other day and that is even with the wind blowing.

This is a city course. Why the devil should I be not be disappointed at the conditions here. It's ridiculous. Greens are bumpy. I am not talking a little. I am saying it's a lot. If you have to hit and pray you get close to the hole because the ball will bounce so much you will be disappointed in the result then you can understand my frustration. Nothing rolls true. You can only hit and PRAY it gets close or in.

Palmer back in the day used to bang his puts b/c the greens were slow. They rolled true though. This is not the case here. I have no idea what the superintendent is doing here but at least sharpen those blade you use to cut the grass b/c let's face it whatever you're doing isn't working. And hasn't worked for the past several weeks you have been trying.

Fairways OK. Tee Boxes OK. Sand in bunkers OK. Take care of your greens. Remember your course like all LA courses feed the coffers of city hall. The least you can do is take care of your product so that folks continue to patronize this place. Otherwise I am going to take my business elsewhere -- like dare I say.. Chester Washington or Los Verdes or even Alondra b/c they do a better job of taking care of their course than you do. And you only have 9 holes to maintain versus their 18.

Bring your 4x4 ball. Greens are spongy and slow. Poa is in bloom so expect a lot of hops before you reach the hole. Fairways in good condition. Rough is getting very thick. Sand is still well stocked in bunkers. Pace of play is slowing down for twilight so show up early to finish before sunset. Enjoy the fact you're playing golf folks and for Pete's sake keep up the pace it's only a 9 hole course.

First time playing this 9 hole course. Nice layout given the cramped property. The conditions were on the below average side of okay but there was grass in the fairways and sand in the bunkers. The greens were a little shaggy but rolled decently and held well. It was worth the rate. I played early and we finished in about 2:10. Overall it was a good experience. I would go back.

Played Saturday. Conditions OK. Greens look and roll bumpy. Fairways are OK, very lush. Tee boxes are fairly flat. Rough is thick in places. Bunkers are OK; well stocked with sand. Pace of play here for this 9 hole course is rather quick considering the amount of play -- even for a Saturday.

Played today hoping to get a quick nine holes and satisfy that golf itch. A short round was far from it. Took over 3 hours to play 9 holes. Greens bumpy. Fairways are lush. Tee boxes are a bit unlevel. Just find a nice flat spot is all you have to do. This is a busy course during the week. Figure tee times around 2PM to be ideal to get around quickly. Do not play when we did (Tee off around 10:40AM). Still a good deal though and I expect the greens will get better over time.

Greens coming back from punching nicely. Several greens really roll well while others a bit bumpy. Still just another week I suspect. Great for a short run and quick golf fix. Reasonably challenging holes with some wicked rough and traditional layout make for a fun round albeit 9 holes (or half the fun).

Still I enjoy playing this course only because it's inexpensive, easy to get on, and easy to finish in under 2 hours.
