Played here on 3/29/14. Overall, good to very good conditions. In one more week, should be normal, excellent conditions. Only slight remains of aeration on greens, earlier in March, so go in with confidence.

Greens were mostly smooth, a couple of holes still showing some minor punches (near full heal), however, pin placements on this day were usually difficult. There was a men's club shotgun early in the morning, and made me wonder about possibility of a 'monster' tournament, where set-up is made more difficult than normal. Many pin placements were just 4-6 feet from an edge, and in a corner, or on an edge of a tier. Extremely unforgiving. (Could be trying to preserve the majority of green area, from aeration...Not sure, but frustrating to see a well struck wedge on # 9 hit 4 feet from pin, but end up 60+ feet away on the lower tier) I'll chalk it up as an anomaly, and try again, as I really do like this course.

Fairways were very good shape, very clean and divots few a far between. Filled is nicely with nice cushion under the ball in most fairways.

Bunkers were good to very good, no complaints.

Service in Pro Shop very good, a little below average at the snack shop at the turn, but nothing significantly bad.
One of my favorite layouts in So Cal. As always, highly recommend.

Rough is deep and penal, stay outta there. Bunkers are a bit firm below the surface which is the only knock I'd give the course. Greens need one more week, the upcoming rain should help out a great deal. Highly recommended.

Ike ! what can I say that has not been mentioned before. Course is in pretty darn good condition. Greens were fast and rolls true. Some have the tiered greens that is super fun to be on!

Fairways were nice to hit off and quite green I might add. Rough was about 2" and is fair. Be careful to track your ball as you can easily loose it in the rough.

People here were super nice and got us out on time. Saw the bev cart at least 3 times. items were a bit more expensive (almost $20 for sandwich, couple of sodas and some candy bars) but it is nice to know they are there when you needed something.
We had a cart problem and they were able to get us a replacement in a matter of minutes.

I love some of the holes here, esp #2 and it is truly a remarkable course to be on.
One of the gems in So. Cal!

They will be aerating soon and it was great to play in such nice conditions. Truly a fun day visiting IKE again and looking forward for another round soon.

Saw the plethora of recent good reviews at the Babe and decided to go out and play. Since there are so many accurate reviews there, I'm going to skip putting in mine.

After playing Babe in the morning, I replayed Ike. PoP was decent for an afternoon round at just under 4.5 hours, but I was by myself so there was still a ton of waiting. The group in front actually offered to let me through, but I declined since there was at least 4 groups of 4 somes right in front of them.

The course is at its best shape I've ever played! It's finally living up to its reputation and high rack rate. Tee boxes were undamaged and lush, fairways were like carpet without brown spots or major damages. They had portable sprinklers that were watering the handful of thin area at cart entry points. The greens were running quick, true, and consistent. There were divots from groups in front of me, but I didn't see any damage from old divots. The bunkers were consistent through the course, but they're a bit on the thin side.

While Babe is shorter and requires targeted tee shots, Ike is quite long for average folks. It has more elevation changes compared to the Babe and is better looking visually. Love the huge fountain in the middle of the lake as you tee off on #1 and coming back in on 18. Both courses are in top notch shape right now (Ike fairways are a bit better), so if you haven't been there for a while, go!

Played afternoon Feb 1. The Ike is in terrific shape. Fairways are immaculate right now, and the course is playing excellently; it should be looking great for the Symetra Tour event in about a month. My only complaint is that there are way too many golfers playing from the wrong tees here. These are tough courses, and if you're here for bachelor party golf...and you only play once or twice a year...well, the blues probably are too much course for you.

Bunker have some rocks, be careful. Played a 5 hour round, member rate of a "C" note for the weekend. Great meal in Red's after the round.

Played the Ike today early with the gang ... haven't been here for awhile. It's in great shape. Overseed is done and the fairways and greens are real nice right now. Speedy above the hole for sure and everything is rolling fast and on track. If you want a true test of your game in nice surroundings, it's a good place to visit. Had a great meal in Reds after the round, too. Fairways are open to cart traffic, even though we played a 5 hour round we had a great time.

Pace was great of course since we were first off. Service is great, friendly people and workers. Cart path only which didn't seem necessary but it was fine. GPS carts didn't seem to match a few of the pin positions that closely but hey neither does my GPS watch sometimes. Great course and much much better condition than the last time I played it.

Played today and even with cart path only, POP was 4 hours. The course is in great shape and getting better everyday with the warm temperatures. Found the fairways to be in great shape, almost one month after over seeding, punching, etc. The greens were still a little soft and slow, but nothing to be annoyed about. Tee boxes needed a little trim, but putting a tee in the ground was great. Bunkers were in top shape and playable. You did not get a lot of roll and bounce with the fairways but that is to be expected right now. The only complaint I had, was were some of the pin placements were? Guess the guy putting them out today, was not in a good mood? One of the premier courses in S CA, with great customer service, were one can expect a great round of golf at any time.
