Got to play Ike for the first time on Saturday as part of a company related event. I knew this place was a resort but wow were the facilities nice. Practice areas looked fantastic though I didn't have time to warm up and it did look like range was all mats. Course was in rough shape considering the price tag that comes along with this place. Tee's were really shaggy with few bare spots and many uneven tee boxes playing from the whites. Fairways were a little long as well but overall pretty lush minus some hard pan areas with little growth. Rough was really hit or miss though with a mixture of grasses at all different lengths and many bare areas. We played a scramble format so I can't really comment on the bunkers other than I had to retrieve my ball out of one and it felt like a good amount of sand was in there but a little firm underneath. Really hard to say without hitting a shot out of it. Greens rolled great and were tough! All pin placements were tucked away behind a bunker or up on a difficult tier. I really loved the layout. Good thing for the gps though because there are a few blind shots. It looks like I will have to return soon to check out the Babe course as well.

Played the Ike from the backs early Sat. AM in about 4:45 with some waiting on the front and clear sailing on the back. Fairways are getting a bit bare in many areas which happens this time of year, so we had many bad lies. Lots o' soggy areas, too. The rough is hit and miss, found some dry areas next to mushy areas so keep it in the fairway. Greens are fine, rolling medium speed but can be a bit bumpy early ... probably firm up later in the day. Very playable but not the Ike at it's best.

I actually went out to play the Babe on the 1/2 off discound they are running, but when I arrived, Ike was available so I opted for the additional $$ and played Ike. Have not played here in years due... Continue »

Have not played here in years due to the higher prices. I had played here many times previously, so it was nice to go back and play again,

Did not notice any changes, but the course is in really nice condition. No complaints. Not perfect, but very nice. First off so pace of play not an issue. (2hrs 15min) I don't know if it was because the fairways were so wet and had very little run, or because I have just gotten that much shorter, but a number of the holes were a bit more than I could handle now. (Probably a combination of both)

Always enjoyed Ike, much more so than Babe. I will try to get out there before the special ends

Played here Tuesday, the 21st. Course is close to excellent. The tee boxes were near perfect as were the fairways. The greens were very close to being completely healed, just a little slow and a slightly bumpy. Excellent sand in the bunkers. The rough could be penal if the ball went to the bottom. Lets call it lush. If you haven't played here, know that you get a lot of elevation change on some holes, plenty of slope on some fairways, plenty of break on most greens and a great golf experience all the time. Good staff, beverage cart at good intervals and good sandwiches at the turn.

Played with a couple buds this morning on the Ike, VERY slow POP, over 5 hrs for 18 holes. Rates have been bumped up to $90 weekend, and that's member rates ... it's $110 for non-members. A bit pricey but what you get is a very well conditioned (nearly flawless) golf course, tee to green, with plenty of challenge, even if you play the white tees ... which is a good idea unless you hit the ball with above average distance and have excellent ball control, then go ahead and play the blues (I'm a 6 hcp and found the whites a decent test of golf). Black tees are never out, you'd have to find the permanent markers ... not many golfers hitting from there anyway. Bottom line: the Ike is really not a course for the faint of heart or short knockers, and is probably the reason for the slow round, I'm sure. Nice bar/restaurant to hang after the round, too. Recommended, but not cheap.

Played on Monday Feb 11 at Industry Hills (Eisenhower). Course set up well but a really cold morning for golf. Greens fast and smooth with perfect fairways and tee boxes. Wish I had a later tee time but that’s the luck of the draw. Good course with great staff. Shot 72 but not good enough to qualify!

Play last Friday, 2/8 with my brother. The course is in really good shape. Fairways are and rough are green and lush; greens were smooth and fast, running @ 10. Sand traps had fluffy sand. Layout is extremely challenging and very tight and long. Carts had nice GPS. Rack rate is pricey, so play if you get a discount online.

Played the Ike on Thanksgiving. Tee time at 9:30am, blue Tees. Course was cart path only. Faiways therefore a little soft and made some of the long Par 4's that much longer. Greens are still recovering from recent aerating. A little fuzzy and slower than usual. Greens are very palyable but I'd give it atleast another week before they are back up to Ike standards. I was in a few bunkers, they all had plenty of good quality sand. POP was about 4:45. Cart path only slowed us down a bit but playing golf yesterday under perfect weather gave me even more to be thankful for. Staff was friendly and we saw the cart girl at least twice on each 9.

Played the Ike for the first time in 2-3 years. This was in a corporate shotgun scramble tournament. The course definitely played a little easier than the last time I was here. Last time I played here was after a very wet rainy spell, and the rough was absolutely thick and brutal. This time it was much fairer, still lush, but not wet and long. Every aspect of the course was great with the exception of some greens. There were significant bare spots near the fringe on some holes...#12 green comes to mind as especially bad. But the hole locations were usually well away from those problems areas, so it really didn't affect things that much. Looks like some maintenance is coming up so that is likely the reason for the greens being a little funky. Must say that the bunkers were actually a joy to play out of. Perfect condition.

The staff was very solid as usual. The Ike is always a fun experience and I'll be back again.
