It's been a few years, but the course is just as tough as I remember it. Rough is lush and thick in spots but mostly pretty reasonable. Fairways showed signs of divot damage (#3 and #17 come to mind first) but were good otherwise. Tee boxes were also solid with a couple feeling a little unlevel but nothing out of the ordinary. Bunkers were thin, I skipped off of the only one I was in and wasn't the only one to do that today. Greens looked nice, but had their fair share of divots and seemed to wander a bit and not hold lines all that well.

Other notes: Front nine was soggy in many spots (North side of the property). Too much water on the course with the drought we're in. I had at least 6 mudballs today which didn't make me all too happy. Also, the pin placements today were hilarious/ridiculous. GK must have had a bad night last night. Very hard to stop putts to holes on slopes (front left of #2, back right #3, front right #4, etc.) This is a really good track and tricking up the pin placements ruins the experience.

POP was just under 4.5 hours I believe. Saw the cart girl 3-4 times during out round. Very much worth what we payed.

On the Ike again ... great conditions again. Greens were rolling very nice, semi quick, a bit firm due to the cold but softened up as the day warmed. Fairways lush and most divots are filled, good to see people are taking care of the course ... at least this morning. Very harsh rough, difficult to play out of for sure. One complaint: rocks in the bunkers. I've not seen this as bad as today, ever. Otherwise, beautiful views today of the snow capped mountains on a great course. PoP was 4.5 hours with minimal waiting.

Back up the Hill for an IHMC shotgun tourney Sunday, found the course conditions tip-top as mentioned by the previous reviewer. I'm bumping up my rating as the greens were rolling real quick today, just slick as can be while being a bit soft from the rain. A few spike marks around the cup on some of the shady greens. Fairways played a bit thin in spots due to moisture but mostly lush, rough still a challenge. Everything else, very, very nice ... 19th hole packed today, like a mini United Nations. Recommended, but pricey.

Played the Eisenhower course on 12/10/14. Walked on in the morning and got hooked up with a two members for the weekly senior rate of $75. I haven't played this course in probably 10-12 years and I have always considered this course as a real beast. It still is. We played from the blues at over 6,800 yards. A real test. Pace of play was about 4:20 and would have been under 4 hours but we were behind a twosome who had no business playing from the blues. Ground balls off of the tee don't go very far. I suggested to them to pick it up a bit because as a twosome, they shouldn't be falling so far behind. They didn't have a clue. Don't think they spoke any English because I just got that deer in the headlights stare. Oh well

Fairways are great and are generous. The rough is thick. Sand traps are in great shape and the greens were really good. The greens were actually soft which surprised me so you could fire right at the pin knowing it would bite. Very tricky greens though because of all of the undulations. Hard to read. Fortunately the guys I played with knew the course pretty well and helped out on reading them.

A good time to play the Eisenhower course is now. Nice folks in the clubhouse. Only had to wait about 30 minutes before I teed off. Definitely coming back. Non member rates are a bit steep.

Overseed is done on the Ike and it's in great shape, tee to green. Played Friday, 12/5/14, in a Member/Guest day event (open to the public) and had a fantastic time. Got around in 4:45 (CPO) included range balls and a delicious dinner afterward for $80. Greens rolled medium speed and true, although I did notice some variation with greens that received less sun. Was in two bunkers: well conditioned with good sand, just a bit wet from the recent rain. Rough was brutal, stay out of there at all costs. A few semi-bare areas were noticed on the outskirts of fairways and green edges which was surprising since the rest of the course is in exceptional shape. Should stay that way through winter and spring.

Got around in 5 hours this morning (Sun) on the Ike with most of the waiting on the front side, with a big back up on the no. 4 tee box. Found the course in very good condition, tee to green. The few bunkers I found were recently conditioned with no foot prints, yet. Greens not very fast, I'd say medium speed, very receptive and rolling true. As Kevbig mentioned, there are a few brown areas but not many as most of the course is green ... I never had a poor lie when in the fairway. Pricey but recommended if you want a solid golf challenge to gauge your game. But please play the right tees for your game ... blue and black can be a handful to the average golfer.

Played the Ike right at 4pm Super Twilight today as a single. POP was a swift 2.75 hrs and would have been faster but caught up to a couple twosomes around #14. But even before then I was taking my time and playing a one man scramble so to speak. I've been playing the Babe a lot more lately because of the specials that have been running and I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the Ike today. I hold both courses to a high standard and the Ike is usually the "prestigious" of the two hence the higher rates.

Tees- A mixed bag of shaggy, slightly uneven on some holes, and many divots.
Fairways- Mostly lush and good coverage with a few thin spots. But the holes on the back 9 with bermuda fairways were immaculate!
Bunkers- Plenty of practice for me today unfortunately but the highlight of the course. Sand was perfect. No complaints.
Rough- Good to great
Greens- Soft and holding but very bumpy today with plenty of improperly repaired marks. I'm going to assume it was the late day Poa that caused the bumps but still below standard for Industry Hills.

Overall I would have to say that the Babe is actually in better shape at the moment and that's quite rare here. But the service was outstanding as always as well as the layout of the course which in my opinion is a much better layout than the Babe.

Wanted to bump up my rating on the Ike after playing this morning: greens are in great shape as is the rest of the course. There are a few 'cart path only' holes and the rough was not cut recently, only drawbacks I could mention. A bit more expensive than the discounted Babe course but worth it. Otherwise, a fantastic golf venue and nice place to hang out after a round. Highly recommended.
