Played the "Babe" today with their $49 rate which is one of the BEST value's in SoCal. The course was in superb shape. Ball sat up in the fairway like it was on a tee! Greens a tad on the hard side but NO ball marks rolling very true. This is a hard course but a wonderful challenge. If you've never played here or haven't in a while, do so, you won't be disappointed.

Played today, 9:40am tee time at the ongoing special rate of $49. This is an absolute steal for this course and if you haven't played this course, I highly suggest getting out there because it's in great shape. Nothing has changed since my last review, course is fantastic from tee to green. The only issue are the bunkers which are good but not up to the same condition as the rest of the course. I really feel that they just aren't fluffy enough to call "great" but they are good, especially compared to almost anywhere else you'll play in the area. Pace was about 4hrs 45minutes today but that was really us taking our time/playing poorly. The three others I played with had all never played here and every single one loved it. I absolutely recommend and I will certainly be back soon.

this has always been one of my favorite track and I should play here more often but it's kinda pricey. conditions from tee to green were excellent. Tee boxes were leveled. Traps are very consistent. Fairways were like carpet that you could actually putt from. greens were in great shape and rolled true. greens were fast depending on location due to some elevation on this course and a few pin placements were tricky. enjoy my round of 85 but no hardwear to bring home. however, i got raffled for $50 gas card

everything was free today...sleeve of Pro-V1, free lunches and dinner and of course...free entry fee

Played Super Bowl Sunday morning with some buddies @9:10am. Will try to keep it short n sweet. I've played both courses over 75 times (used to work at the now defunct tennis center and free golf was the best perk ever!)...I have NEVER seen it in such great shape other than 2 years ago when the LPGA played the Kia Classic here. I would basically agree with most of the recent reviews. Greens are just absolutely perfect. So true and FAST. I mean really fast. Not sure if they were just rolled but man I've never seen them this quick. Short side yourself and kiss par goodbye. Everything else was amazing as well. Tees, fairways, rough were all lush and excellent to hit from (maybe not the rough which is penal). The bunkers I was in today were great as well. POP was 4 hours probably because most people were home getting ready for the game later. Not much else to add other than the course looks and feels like a tournament course right now. Get out there ASAP!

Played here yesterday, 1/31/14 w/ a 9:40am tee time. This was my first time playing the course and first trip to Industry Hills and I loved the place. Course was in great shape from tee to green. Tee boxes are nice and level with a only a couple exceptions and the fairways are lush. There were divots here and there but all were filled with divot mix so it tells you something about the people playing the course. Greens were in perfect shape and were fast. My only quibble with the greens (its really me having never played here before) was that many greens showed a subtle break to them that was in actuality not there which resulted in me rolling the edges of most cups. If there was a knock on the course it would be the bunkers. I was in bunkers on far too many holes but I found them to be only average. Only one was truly hard pan but nearly all of them were damp and while you could hit under the ball to get out, you couldn't really go at it and had to have a more shallow angle of attack to avoid have the club bounce. Other than that, the course was fantastic and as sngernz has posted below, the $44/$49 weekday rate will go into April so definitely get out to Industry Hills and play this course for an awesome price. Btw, POP was a little over 4.5hrs but we could have been slightly faster if not for the threesome I was paired with.

The $44/$49 weekday special on the Babe will continue thru April ... and beyond. Easily the best 'deal' in the LA area. Course is in great shape, especially the greens which are medium speed and rolling very nice. A few thin areas in the fairways but mostly lush. Bunkers fantastic but there are a few rocks here and there. Worth a trip, but PoP can be slow as some players really struggle here. We played in just under 5 hrs. on a Friday with an 8am tee time. Enjoy!

Played here 1/27/14, on what I beleive is a January special weekday rate of $49. One of the best deals anywhere in So Cal.

I love the Industry Hills courses (Ike and Babe), but find the logistics here a little challenging: between slightly offsite range, and long walk between parking, range, and proshop. Only minor inconvenience although given the great courses that follow.

Babe Zaharias course is shorter of the two (about 400 yards shorter than Ike on each tee set), but is much tighter. I think Babe may play tougher at times than the bigger Ike course. Babe plays mostly left to right, when there is a turn on the hole. 7 holes require a fade or cut off tee, versus only 2 that turn right to left. Many holes require a precise shot to an area that gets past a dogleg, or a strategically placed tree or bunker at a corner of a turn in the fairway. Interesting layout that requires some thought off the tee. New and very precise touch screen GPS on board is very helpful.

Tees: Rated 8/10. Level and well maincured.

Fairways: Rated 8/10. Just a hair thin in spots, but it's January...Still in very good condition, although a lot of divots in certain, popular landing spots. Players should be more responisble and respectful on course and USE THE DIVOT MIX PROVIDED!

Greens: Rated 9/10. Smooth, fast, but receptive. Rolling very well. Tough to read on some holes, as many shadows from tall trees around greens hide subtle contours.

Bunkers: Rated 8/10. Very nice condition. Rught amount of sand and firmness.

Rough: Rated 7/10. Long in spots and shorter in others. Nothing unusual, or penal.

Good customer service, although only saw beverage cart once. POP was ok, slow on first 3-4 holes, but picked up nicely after that. Highly recommend. Enjoy

Latched onto a great deal on the Babe ($44) on a Friday with some buds, found the course in great shape. PoP about 5 hours with a late morning tee time. Some divots to negotiate in the fairways and the only bunker I visited had some not too soft sand, but the greens were outstanding, rolling quick and true. Never had a bad lie even in the rough. I might come back and play it more over the holiday break because they extended the low rates for another month. Recommended.

I'm a bit surprised that there has been no reviews since my Nov. post, because the course is in great shape and the $49-69 green fee deal they have going on here on the Babe is and excellent deal. Course very good tee to green ... not much more to say. If you have not been here for awhile, time to take advantage of this great deal. Greens are very quick, rolling very true. Fairways are nice as is the rough. Will spend some time here during the Xmas break.
