The course was in good shape overall. Some areas were a little soggy and bare but not too much and mainly in shank areas. Sand is wet but very playable. Ball marks were bothersome but improved over the round. Greens were soft and fast. I was very happy with the challenge of the layout and had a very fun round.

The course is in great shape. The best I have ever seen. With all the play it gets the greens are still in great shape. The greenskeeper(s) here really know what he/they is/are doing. The county of Los Angeles does a tremendous service to the public by keeping prices reasonable so that more people can enjoy golf. It was $25 to walk. However, the round took over 5 hours to complete. That does not bother me as much as seeing unraked bunkers and unrepaired ball marks. I spent a little time taking care of what others should have done. People, please take care of the course, any course! A person with good course etiquette is more than likely to be a person of good character.

Slow weekend round. Starter mentioned that there were two tournaments in the morning. Greens were in decent shape and fairways were a little thin at times. Blue tees were moved up on several holes so the course was playing shorter than normal. On a couple of holes I noticed the yardages on the scorecard were different from posted yardages. All and all not too bad a round.

Had a 1:38 tee time. Started at 2:00. 3 hours to play the front nine. Many unrepaired ball marks on greens.

Played today in between 2 tournaments. All I can tell you was that it was cold!!!! It was also very windy. Felt like I was playing in the Inland Empire. It was blowing about 40- 50 MPH steady. This course is already long but the winds made it a lot longer. the greens rolled real good, fairways were lush , and the traps were fluffy. Played in about 5 hours which is very good for this course on weekends. Will come back to play when it rains and scares people away.

Course was in good shape. Greens were very bumpy. Fairways are in good shape considering the course, and rough was ok. If you live in the area it is worth the play.

Fun course here. Seems in better shape than the neighboring courses at this time. Greens are pretty fast and pin placements are tough, lots of downhill putting that goes to the bottom of the green. Good par 3's out there, over water and some about 200 yrds. No real complaints about this place today, as pace was decent as well. 5th out on Sunday morning, and finished just over 4 1/2 hours. If my game was on, I'd probably like it even more.
