Stay away from the right side on your second shot into 18! They did some tree trimming but got lazy and left all the clippings along the driving range fence. Way to go, guys. And why are the greens so bumpy early Sunday morning? hmmm. I'll get you next time, scgolfer.

Over 5 hours and 15 minutes to complete a round on a weekday. Thought that aerated greens would lessen the crowd. Guess not. Probably take about a month for the greens to recover.

I played lakewood on 3.10. I play here fairly regularly, but it had been a few months. The course has dried out nicely and is very green and lush. The greens are a touch slow, but for the amount of play the course gets, it's certainly understandable that the greenskeepers let the grass grow a touch. The tees, fairways, and bunkers are all in great shape.
Best of all, I played Friday morning, wide open. Only a couple singles on the list, and we got right out.
Can you tell this is one of my faves? A great golfing value.

most of course really green and in good shape, except for greens. seems like they never cut them or roll them becauce they are really bumpy and slow. too bad could be a really good course.

Played Saturday, 12/18 in a tournament. 90 minutes late due to 50% off so they sent us out in groups of 6. Very poor planning by the Lakewood CC tournament director. They were very apologetic but that only goes so far.

As for the course, the fairways were in pretty good shape. Greens rolled ok, but could have been smoother. It was definitely much greener than Skylinks!

Played 12-13. Course is in decent shape. Fairways nice greens okay, a little slow and bumpy. Took way to long to play on a Monday though, over 5 hours.

Course is in good shape, and on an up swing. Greens where slow after last nights rain but not beat up. Worth the $ to play.
