I played here 7/22/23 and its been years since I played here. LA is generally open and can't get in trouble in the front. The back has a a few holes with water. Fairways are in great shape and the greens were great also. As others have said perhaps the rain did the course well. The reviews are what the conditions are and overall I would rate the fairways an easy 7.5/10 and greens are about the same. Everythings was pretty lush and for the price well worth it.

Played here this past Saturday and was pleasantly surprised by the conditions. This course has definitely benefitted from all the rain earlier this year. We teed off about 15 minutes late and were expecting a slow round. POP ended up at 5 hours with 2 groups backed up on 5-6 holes.

At $48 to walk, $64 to ride, I am slowly coming to terms with this becoming the "normal" price for a muni course.

Overall, a decent experience. Just expect a 5 hour round on the weekends.

Sunday round with three friends at Los Amigos this weekend. We had a 12:12 start time and were all walking. Just to get the rough part out of the way early - we finished the 18th hole at around 5:20pm - you do the math. Many crammed tee boxes two or three groups deep.

In terms of conditions, the rains have done the fairways and rough a lot of good this week. Can't recall too many bad lies at all, but of course did see some damaged and dirt areas off on the sides of the fairways. Bunkers were in their usual good condition here, and the greens were mostly running nicely. Held shots well and stayed pretty true to their lines surprisingly.

The worst part of the Los Amigos experience was the tee boxes. They are quite beat up and a lot of times mostly dirt, alongside also not all being very even. It was always an adventure finding a decent spot to tee the ball. This needs improvement.

As earlier mentioned, POP was a bit of a nightmare and there was no cart service all afternoon anywhere on the course, but it was a beautiful day with the sun shining and the company was excellent so we still had a pretty great time.

Played Friday filling in the 4. Found the course in dry conditions so the fairways gave good roll out. Lies were questionable most of the round. Tee boxes on par 3's are in need of work. Traps were OK but could be better. Greens rolled well on all holes. But the big problem here is groups of 5. Many of these are walkers and it slows play tremendously. On # 3 we had 5 on the green, 2 groups of 5 and our group of 4 waiting. The price for Sr play is $22 and add $15.50 for a cart. $37.50 is not worth the price for the condition the course is in at present. The course gets over played but the conditions seem to constantly be less than optimal. I cannot recommend at present.

Sadly Los Amigos continues to disappoint in grand fashion. Played there on Sunday with three friends and the only thing that went well really was that the POP was only five hours and not longer. The greens are in terrible shape - bumpy, inconsistent and damaged in many cases.

The fairways are mostly thin with a few decent spots, but also large tracts of just dirt and nothingness. Awful. Rough is non-existent, tee boxes are mostly a disaster and the only saving grace is the good state of the bunkers. How often is that the case?

No cart service all day, POP was again decent but still five hours, and not much else to really say. I wish this place would get its s*!@ together because I've seen it in great shape many years ago and it's a shame not to see it like that again now.

Have played here for many many years, and it's always been one of my faves. Staff is always nice....green fees are decent. The course is run down now, sadly. I mean, it's playable, and there are some good spots throughout, but overall, it's taking a beating. Greens used to be excellent, but not so much, these days. Will I be back? Sure. Just wish these once awesome Muni's could keep up with the nicer courses in the area....

Haven't played here in a while, very disappointed in the condition of the course today. The greens were absolutely terrible, worst I have ever played on. The fairway wasn't much better with a ton of bare spots and over grown weeds. This used to be a nice course, won't be back unless conditions get better.
