Played 3/15. Course was okay. First off, the pace of play was pretty slow, it was hard to get any rhythm going. Some tees were uneven. Fairways were in okay shape for this time of year. I found myself in the traps alot! At times they were hard and at times they were fluffy, hard to figure out. Greens were in good condition. Wind was howling throughout the round. As bggpoppa said there were dirt storms! Overall course is alright, probably play other courses in the area first before returning to this one....

Played today 3/15/08, started at 10:30 at our scheduled tee time.. SLOW, VERY SLOW.. the marshalls didn't really control the pace of play.. The wind was howling on the back, around 20-25mph.. made for a brutal round.. Unfortunately I was in the sand, but for a muni the sand quality is nice and fluffy. The greens rolled true and pretty quick.. Watch out on a window due to the construction in the area dirt storms all over the course!!

Course not really in bad shape, but greens were very strange. Surface was soft but underneath really firm. Chip shots were bouncing through the greens - not much fun given where some of the holes were cut.

Slow weekend round at Skylinks. Fairways are firm, so play for some roll. Greens were in decent shape.

The course is in good shape and only getting better. Be careful thou the burmuda is going dorment so the ball runs more. also dont be scared of the blonde color of the grass.

The greens are just now recovering from the recent punching. Not bad, just not great. Another couple weeks and they'll be fine. There are elements about the redesign I like, but they have created a "resistance to scoring" factor because of the infrequency I play here, I can't seem to leave myself in the right place to get "up & down" or leave easy putts. Would take a lot of local knowledge and since I only play here once a year, too many variables to allow my game to put any really good numbers here. I like the course, but never seem to score here. Also don't feel this course is worth what they're charging.

Played saturday 10/6/07 afternoon.Short of carts delayed our tee time about 15 minutes waiting carts coming from 18 th hole.Aerated greens almost healing to get normal conditions and so many ball marks unrepaired shows all over the greens that I repaired at least 1-3 of each greens.Especially these thin kind surface greens are more damageable than thick ones.Fairways & roughs are in decent to good conditions but almost every tee boxes little bit beated up even you can feel with your steps.Pace of play ;5hours 30minutes we barely finished in the dark.$65.00 of green fee only justify their GPS attached on the carts.

played saturday the 29th.there wasn't any sand in the containers,every green was bad with no one fixing the ball marks,there was no cart girl,their was no water in any of the tanks.at the turn we had to wait too long for food and drinks,because their was a weeding going on and not enough people to serve,bartender was very slow and did not know where the right bottles were,this course should not charge the pricing it is $ 65.it is only a $25 -$35 course. for the money i would play at a lot better course

Played twilight on Sunday 9/16. Managed to get 16 holes in before it got too dark. It's been 4 or 5 years since we played here. We liked the update to landscaping to the course.

Played twilight on Sunday 9/16. Managed to get 16 holes in before it got too dark. It's been 4 or 5 years since we played here. We liked the update to landscaping to the course.

The greens today were in such bad shape. There were lots of old and new ball marks on every green. When we putted on the greens, the balls would bounce up and down so much. Some of the fairways were dry in spots and mushy in other spots. Liked the bermuda grass on the fairways. It's so much nicer than other city courses.

The sand in the bunkers were real nice. I did notice there are a lot more bunkers than before the update to the course. It's so hard to avoid hitting in the sand traps.

I don't think it's worth the extra $$ green fees especially with the condition of the course at the present time. I notice they are planning on aerating the course in a few days. Would only play twilight here.
