Bad divots all around, players not helping to replace their damage. Speed was o.k. with time between 4.5-5 hrs. Get ready to see helicoptors and small propeller planes fly just right over you. For $51 this place is way too expensive with twilight not kicking in til 3:00 p.m., this course would be better suited to $35-40 max.

Tee Time was 7am and we were done at 10:30.Course is in Great Shape as the Greens are finally growing in and running smooth.

I played 4/1/07 at Skylinks. The fairways/rough are slowly getting green after going dormant through the winter. The fairways remain very firm with an absence of rough. The greens were in the best shape I’ve seen since inception; however, many players still do not repair their ball marks. The bunker sand is also okay; however, many players do not rake them, and you might end up in a footprint. A challenging course for the area, but requires that players do their part.

While course looks terrible withthe fairways being dormant (brown brown brown) they're not too bad to play off of. The greens are very firm and today EVERY pin was tucked. As a result, not one person in our fivesome (all single digit) broke 80. The pins were just plain tough! 39 putts was the lowest any of us could muster. Playing in the wind with rock hard greens, tough pins and tight fairways was a challenge I wasn't up to meet. Maybe next week at Eisenhower? (Yea right, like that will be easier!)

Played sat 2/24, 6:40 tee time...first time here... pleasantly surprised. grass is starting to come back. greens consistent... they are pretty undulating, but the speed was manageable and fair. If they were faster, people would have a hard time 2putting. and responding to prior feedback, they hold just fine. The layout is nice. a couple of holes you need a little local knowledge. bunkers were perfect. 4 1/2 hr round. enjoyable course. dare i say... my favorite out of the long beach circuit? between skylinks and el dorado. would i go back? maybe. $51 to walk? I'll come back when I can pay less. other than that... thumbs up.

Played this course on president's day (2/19). The course was is decent shape. Greens were rock hard but were holding, due to the rain that we had earlier in the day. The greens were in poor shape with several unrepaired divots and some bare spots. Played the course with an online discount. Wouldn't pay the full rate for this course.

I played Skylinks last week and enjoyed the golf course. Yes, the grass is dormant, but it reminded me of many golf courses around the colder regions in the country during winder. And, I thougt it looked beautiful in its own way. The greens were running well, and though firm, they were receptive to decently struck balls. I had more than a few balls suck back. I found the greens to be fairly tricky with some good undulations. The layout is intelligent, and they make very good use the limited space. Great bunker layout. Most bunkers are deep and it's best to stay out. But, the sand is quality, although a little fluffy. I played from the black tees and the course is about 6800 yards from there - decent distance. Always watch out for the short par fours. Best not to be tempted by a well guarded green. Just play for position with an iron off the tee. Overall. I will play there again. Green fees are too high, but hey, what are you going to do. It was fun golf.

Played 1-31... besides for the fairways and rough being completely dormant(brown) the course was in OK shape. The greens are in pretty good shape. I liked the layout of the couse, lots of doglegs and some variety in the fairways, they aren't just flat. I wouldn't play the course for the regular greens fee but if you can get a deal from GOLF-NOW it's worth that price.

Greens are quite nice right now, a few too many ball marks but what do expect for a course that gets that much play. Overall the course is very enjoyable!!
