Played Dec 10. Conditions did not reflect Greenskeeper ratings of "Great." Fairways yellowed and and patchy, greens incredibly bumpy from ball marks. Really like the course and service and friendliness are excellent, but conditions not up to past experience. Could be they are letting things go since 9 holes will be given over to developers next year including those great elevated tees on the Ridge course. A shame, I'll miss them.

Choice of 3 nines makes for interesting play on windy days. Staff is usually accomodating with player's choice of which 2 courses to play.

Played Creek-Valley on Wednesday and course was in much better shape the 4 times I played prior to this. I don't know if the fairways and greens are recovering from reseeding and aeration but they were subpar. The fairways were 30% rye and burnt out. This would lead me to believe they are recovering and the greens were in moderate shape. I still enjoy this course for its amenities and layout. I still shot a decent round and the weather was great. Can't complain with the price I got, however, be warned if you are going to pay full price. I can think of a dozen courses in much better conditions right now to spend that amount of cash on. Customer service was great, conditions good but not great.

I played here for the first time on a Wednesday (10/26), paying $69 including cart.

The 27 hole course has a Valley nine, Creek nine, and Ridge nine. My round included the Valley/Ridge combination.

Looking at the scorecard layout of the course, I was concerned that the back and forth design of the course with adjacent fairways would make for a completely uninteresting round. But there are enough trees and space in between holes that this isn't a problem.

The Valley nine was straightforward and I didn't feel that there was much excitement or imagination except for a couple of holes which had a blind tee shot over a ridge.

The Ridge course was far more interesting and challenging. Elevated tee boxes and water hazards made for a fun back nine.

Overall, the course plays fairly short, with most of the par 4's easily reachable with a 3-wood, short iron combination. The greens are well-maintained and have enough undulation and tiering to be challenging for most golfers.

I plan to play this course again, definitely playing from the (blue or black tees) and sticking to the Ridge and Creek courses.

I really like this course. I'm not sure it's worth $100, but then, it's Orange County. Much better deals up this way.

I joined the player developement program and it is a really good deal for such a great course. I really like the Ridge course. The people there are really nice and they actually seem to like there jobs. Some of the views are amazing of saddle back and of orange county. On some of the holes make sure you keep your ball on the fairway or your ball will ge lost in the tall grass. The greens are fun and challenging.

Played 10/8, course is not very long, but narrower fairways and deep rough will make you want to keep you ball in the short grass. Great greens.
