Played Valley-Ridge on 10/23 and it was great. Finished in 4 hours and did not wait except on two tee boxes (par 3's). This course is fun and you will get a little better each time you play. The greens, fairways, tee boxes and rough are awesome. Need a little work on their yardage markers, that just makes it a little more of a challenge. Have fun and make sure your putter is "working"!!!!

Aliso Viejo is an excellent course and not too hard but a challange from Blues. One par 3 of 145+ yards is a straight downhill and only a wedge is needed.

Aliso Viejo is an excellent course and not too hard but a challange from Blues. One par 3 of 145+ yards is a straight downhill and only a wedge is needed.
Fairway are wide and you do not lose too many balls here. The weather is always nice also and a short drive from 73 toll road.

I played on Sunday and had a great time. Aliso Viejo is a beautiful course, everything about it was exceptional. I recomend this course to anyone thinking about playing in the Orange County area.

Course Management a must...a fun layout. Three nine hole, designed by "the Bear and his son." Many tricky greens, fairly narrow fairways, greet tee box vistas. Only bad part was sand, maybe heat has them watering them down. Played Ridge to Creek in under 4 1/2 hours, great service, marshalls and starters were cool. All that said, think fairway woods or long irons instead of driver on most holes.

We had an away tournament here recently. and the course was in great shape. The staff treated us well. The only problem was the start time. We had booked an early time, but due to an Aliso Viejo internal problem with a former staff employee, our time was given to another tournament, and we didn't tee off til after 11 AM, in the summer heat, that was a problem. The staff treated us well while we were there, but they really didn't do much to try and solve. or compensate us , for the problem they acknowleged was cause by their former staff member. Also the course does charge a $10 premium for tournaments. Doesn't seem fair when we bring in a lot of players to the course, and the rate is on the high end already. But the course itself was GREAT, and the staff on the course was professional while we were there.

Played 7/19. Course in great shape from tee to green. Not a long course, but hitting the green in the right spot is key, easy to 3 putt here as greens are huge.

I hadn't play here since October 2003. The course was in very nice condition. To my surprise, the place was empty? Played in well under 3 1/2 hours (4some) Not my style of course, but a nice change of pace. Staff was exceptional, which these days is rare.
