I rarely play this course, but always enjoy this fun little track. Has a few good holes and is a nice break from the tougher tracks. Course was in very nice condition, not exceptional, but nice. Greens were very receptive to short shots, which you tendto have a number of on this shorter course. I think the changes to the final four holes were a positive to this course and is consistant with the preceeding holes.

Played Dad Miller in the Anaheim city championship on 4/25. They usually get the greens in good shape for this tournament and this year was no exception. The course is pretty easy but there are a few tricky shots out there. LOTS of birdies to be had though. Go play soon, it's in good shape.

Typical condition for a muni this time of year. Green are a little slow and bumpy. Fairways are average. Some tee boxes were somewhat uneven. The pace of play was horrible. After the first hole, there was a 2 group backup on every hole. It took over 3 hours to play 9 holes, quit after 11.

Bring your 4x4 Ball. 'Cause those greens are bumpy! Greens are receptive but with all the skipping the ball would do on its way to the hole you were lucky to just get it close. I would characterize the greens as slow/med slow. Just nothing would hold its line. Fairways are OK, little thin. Bunkers are really soft. Hit a high shot expect that ball to disappear especially on 2, left greenside bunker. Aside from that kept out of traps the rest of the round. Tee boxes are well rotated a little uneven but dealable.

Course was playing very fast yesterday. Walked up and got out and at $17.50 we finished 18 with plenty of light. Group I was playing with was slow but tried to keep pace. Being a threesome you would think we could hoof it fast but one guy's setup was painfully long. That can really be disrupting if you want to get out fast. Felt would have finished round sooner as well. Oh well splitting hairs. Course is in OK condition currently. Greens are really suspect so don't expect PGA. Typical muni faire.

Dad Miller is a decent track at a reasonable price. The greens are recovering well from last weeks aeration but are still a little shaggy, bumpy, and slow. The fairways are definitely winter thin yielding some funky lies. The bunkers have decent sand but way too many rocks and pebbles. The rough is on the thin side but good. The tee boxes are good. The conditions are overall fair but I am sure they will improve as spring comes.

About the only good things I can say about this course are competent guys behind the counter, super nice and functional marshalls, accomplished resident pros (James and Sokol) and the hottest bartenders this side of the Santa Ana River (females - Greg doesn't count.) dand

Had my first experience playing this course. I arrived at 9:30AM to a 10:30AM tee time. Plenty of parking to be had on the weekdays. (Not so sure on a busy weekend.) The driving range is across the street and down a bit. Not the MOST convenient spot, but servicable not the less. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEWCOMERS - You pay at the clubhouse to use the driving range. The course gets pretty steady business. Considering the greens fees prices, I'm not surprised. The course is pretty straight forward. No big surprises to be had. I knew I had a good day going when I par 3 on the front nine and have a birdie to boot! The greens needed to be mowed, but I understand that there will be aeration of the greens taking place next week. The back nine plays pretty much the same, but a large culvert and water come into play on a few of the holes, making the player weight a lay up, or to go for it. I wasn't so fortunate with my decisions!! If the course remains in it's present condition, I will be happy to return. I think it's a very good value for the dollar spent!

Played right at twilight and barely got in all 18. They are pushing twilight back to 2 pm starting 2/1/09, so there will be no chance to finish after then. Easy course to walk. Pace was decent for first 6 holes until the first par 3, then it was a wait at every hole until the end. Lots of bare spots and dying grass on most fairways. Some tees were uneven, and most had divot damage. You get what you pay for here. Not a very challenging course, as many very short par 4's. I'm not usually one to complain about courses, but don't think I'll be back here.
