They did a great job of punching then sanding the greens. They rolled very well over the sand at a slower pace. Pitches and chips stop quickly so be aggresive. The tee boxes and bunkers are in amazing shape. As usual the fairways are hard with a lot of tight lies sometimes in an old divot. They lower the fees for a short time after they aerify. I respect that. Second time in 2 weeks I have seen a rattlesnake on the cart path. The other was at the Golf Club at Glen Ivy.

Play AT again this week. The course is in nice shape. The back and white tee boxes have been reseeded and look about ready for play. I wish I had known, so I could play the back tees from not much further back than the blues, and maybe save a stroke or two on the handicap. Always looking for an angle. The fairways were in very good shape, as were the greens and bunkers. We started a little after noon, and pace of play was fine. The cart gal and ranger came around regularly. All in all, nothing to complain about.

We played here on the last leg of a 4-day golf trip. The course was in surprisingly good shape, except for a few green that looked like they we recovering from earlier problems. Greens were a liitle slow, but putted true, and the pace was generally fine. Great burger in the restaurant. All in all, a good day on the course.

I always like the fact that this golf course is all by itself out in the canyon. No streets or houses are nearby which makes for a very pleasant atmosphere. There are a lot of scenic holes with elevated tees and nice views. The course was in its usual condition, which I would rate as fairly average for the price of the green fee. You get a lot of hard pan lies and very thin fairways in some places and in others it seems as if they have been drenched in water and are muddy and soft. I think the greens are very average here, sometimes I have seen them quite bumpy and slow. Overall a good golf experience and a great place to have lunch or a drink after the round.

Played 8/11 (at) 1109a with the e-mail special. Weekdays are $65 but they give specials for $50 when you sign up. Course is in alright shape, the greens are going to be aerated soon so they're just patched up for now, but they still rolled well. Fairway with some thin and bare spots, dried out in others. For the most part, the course was pretty nice and green for it being so hot recently. Sand was nice and fluffy, balls sit nice and high on 'em. Alot of people got on the special cause it took us almost 5 hours to finish-on a Tuesday!! I wouldn't pay more than $50 for this course, especially in the shape that it's in now.

This is a fabulous course. I played on July 22, 2009 6:15am. I arrived as a single as was paired a 3-some. We played in less than 3 ½ hours. The course is extremely well maintained and is very scenic. It has links style fairways that are cut fairly tight. I never had a bad lie. The greens were excellent and rolled at a pretty good pace. It is a definite must for the price.
