Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii! This is a fabulous golf course. I totally enjoyed my experience at the course. I arrived at 5:45am as a single and was paired with a 2-some. We played in about 3 hours. Our tee time was 6:00am but we moved back to 6:15 or so to allow 2 fast playing member groups to get off 1st. We never saw them again. One item I thought was strange was the cart and bag people didn't start work until 6:00am was the exact time of the 1st tee time. So there is no way the 1st group could tee off on time. The clubhouse staff was excellent. The course was in great condition. The greens were a little marked up but seemed to roll well. The GPS was very helpful. The course was scenic and well worth the price. I will definitely return.
I played this course on Tue July 21, 2009. I arrived as a single at 5:50am as was paired with a 3-some. We played in about 3 1/2 hours. I found the course conditions to be inconsistant at best. The rough was not good at all. I had some bad lies in the fairway. The greens changed from green to green and were very slow. The 2 sand traps that I entered were awful. Overall I found the course to be extremely boring and not worth playing again. It did have a few interesting holes but these were too few and far between. I really enjoyed my playing partners though. They were the best.
This is a good municipal course. I played on Sunday July 19 at 6:15am. I arrived as a single and was joined with a 3-some. We played in less than 3 ½ hours. The course layout was very fun with some challenging holes. The condition was probably average for a municipal course. It had some worn areas but nothing you couldn’t play through. I would definitely play again. It is well worth the price and must play at least once. You definitely have to know where the ocean is at all times in order to read putts.
This is a fabulous course. I played on July 22, 2009 6:15am. I arrived as a single as was paired a 3-some. We played in less than 3 ½ hours. The course is extremely well maintained and is very scenic. It has links style fairways that are cut fairly tight. I never had a bad lie. The greens were excellent and rolled at a pretty good pace. It is a definite must for the price.
