The whole experience was great today. I have had a lot of bad rounds at this course, but today was a pleasant experience. The pace of play was really good today. The fairways were very wet but the grass was great. Bar and grill was just incredible. This round really restored some of my faith in this course and its staff.

The greens have almost completely recovered from aeration.
The rough is crazy thick & deep in many areas. 5 to 7 inches.
Good stuff here.

Played today, 9:48 tee time but they got got us out early. Some sort of seminar going on with golf teaching pros. Course is in terrific shape, fairways rolled well with just a few unsanded divots, greens were med fast, rolled true with some unseen breaks and just a few unfixed ball marks. They were firm and not holding shots unless you can spin the ball well. Staff was friendly, cart girl came around often. The last 4 holes it got real hot and balmy due to sprinklers going on to keep the grass wet.

All in all a good day. Got my 2 for 1 green fees cert from the survey, and saved some bucks, sweet deal.

anyway, course is in terrific shape...ive been here about half a dozen times over the past year or two, and it was the best ive seen it...fairways are lush, bunkers have good sand, greens roll true, but aren't too fast or too firm, and dont have a lot of ball marks...they are fully back from aeration

When I was up there with 3 friends with expectation of hot/dry weather but, we could play along with yellow carpet of wild flowers on gentle slopes. Green were really dark green, sky was really blue. Temperature and moistur were quite descent for play. pro shop is being 40% discout blow out sale.

All of course looked like very comfortable thanks to good scenery but, was not easy whenever swung out tee shot because fairways were narrow and elevationful. If you are a good iron player, you can enjoy with less score.

Greens were punched 10 days ago but are still suffering the effects. Very bumpy, sandy & very slow. Give it 2 more weeks.

Played the course 4 weeks ago. An excellent mountain style golf course. A lot of elevation changes. The course was very scenic. You have great views of Orange Country and Catalina Island from the golf course.

This course is a must play. Very challenging. Keep it straight or you will be OB. Strongly recommended. All aspects of the course were top of the line. Conditions were very good. A very nice driving range. An amazing course layout. Great conditions from tee to green. A nice players course.

This is a terrific golf course. Fairways are in excellent condition. Greens are quite firm and don't hold approaches well, but roll smooth and quickly. I had trouble reading them though. Friendly and helpful staff. Food at restaurant is good. Very few flat lies on this challenging course but awesome views. Well worth the pricey green fee.

Course is in great condition. Fairways are lush and beautiful, with some dormant grass and a few thin spots. But overall great, ball rolled nicely. Greens were firm, and fast, did not hold many shots unless you can really spin the ball, which I can't. Rolled true. Staff was great as usual, golf pro came into the 19th hole and asked us how we enjoyed the round. Cart girl came around at least 4 times during our round. 4.5 hr round, with no waiting on any holes, everyone was playing well, even when OB or in the junk played out or dropped without wasting too much time. very few unfilled divots, and no ball marks o the greens. This course is tough but always a pleasure to play. Would rate it a good 8 out of 10.
