Course still in great shape. Walked on as a twosome on Friday at 12:30pm. Only had to wait 20 minutes. Played in 4.5 hours, walking for $24!. Greens were cut very short. Extremely fast and tricky. When the greens are short here, it plays VERY DIFFICULT. Nice to see they've laid some sod in the bare areas in fairways on #'s 17 and 3. Wonderful place to play. Hamburgers in lounge are 1/2 pound! And Sam Adams on tap! Great end to a great day on the course.

Played on Easter Sunday with a PGA Checkered Flag Pro! Had a great time, finished in under 3.5 hours. Course was in excellent condition, just wish more people repaired their divots on the green. I am working on that more myself replacing mine plus a couple others. The staff there was great and the food ordering phone on the 9th hole made the turn and pace of golf quick.
I will definitely be visiting San Juan again.

I only played the course once in Nov. (free birthday special) and really liked the course, but thought that the rating was too low. I'm glad they have adjusted it to a more accurate rating. I'll start playing and enjoying it now. It was in great shape then and I'm sure its in even better shape now.

Finally the SCGA changed the rating on this course. It plays much more difficult than the slope/rating on the card. Absolute steal for $32 to walk on a weekday. A few fairways had barespots, but they were marked as ground under repair. Greens a little bumpy today, but consistent. Course is very lush.

Courses can be maintained without charging $80 ++. Will get my business again. 1 tip for the course, player assistant needs to keep game moving.

I read about this course on greenskeeper and thought I'd give it a try. This is a fun course with some nice scenic holes. It's a bargain at $29 on Saturday after 1PM. Definently will go back again.
