Played 6/4 for &35 so I guess I should not expect great condition. Greens and fairways dried out which is not suprising for this time of year. Thought the layout was fair, but, too many of the holes felt similar so not real exciting.

Played 2/14/09 and course is in wonderful shape. No rain or wind and not a cloud in the sky. Got a good price on GolfNow.

Played very early Sunday 12 Jan. A great resort Pete layout. Great customer service and golf cart attendance. Fairways partly dormant grass and thin for time of year; no worries. Greens very good but not cut for speed and in great condition. Extremely good practice facility. All other aspects great. Worth it if you can find a deal.

The Pete Dye golf course is at the Westin Mission Hills Resort and is one of two courses open to the public (Gary Player is the other). The Pete Dye is in very good condition and is tougher than most resort courses. Water comes into play on many holes and there are many bunkers which welcome an errant tee or approach shot.

Greens ran true but are a bit slow but overall it is very well maintained. Customer service is outstanding and the temperature barely broke 100F which is great for July.

I think the Gary Player course is more pleasing to the eye and is easier to play but I enjoyed the Pete Dye as well.

Played sun 11/18. Course in great shape. Greens are nice speed. I like this course. It's interesting enough to keep me entertained. #14 is a killer. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 is a nice group of holes. and 18 is a great finishing hole. The rest of the course is ok. I had a good time.

Typical desert course with nothing remarkable but missed ace by 4 inches.
