Good times at the GK event on Saturday! Thank you Johnny and Eagle Falls GC. The course was in great shape: Level tees, lush fairways and rough, and pristine greens. I saw no ball marks on the greens. They rolled medium fast and true without any bumpiness. This course is one of my favorites in the area, and there are many to choose from out here. I will be back when the heat brings the prices down.

Only disappointment I came away with was that I haven't played here sooner. I loved everything about this place. Despite the withering heat, I was bummed out to realize we were at the 17th hole and our round was about to end (had a lot to do with my playing partners, thanks 3puttjohn and shebylo!).

Loved the layout. Nice mixture of holes. Conditions; nothing short of spectacular.

The staff were terrific. Thank you cart girl whomever you are for keeping the water and ice coming.

Big thank you to Johnny for putting on such a great event. Thought I heard you say something about going back in December...I'm there!

Played at the 4/21/12 GK event. Had a great time meeting JohnnyGK and many other GK regulars. Will attend additional events in the future. On to the course. Practice area and range..perfect condition. I imagined the course would be the same, and I was not dissapointed. Near perfect fairways, although I can only vouch for 6-7 of them, as I missed a few. Firm but still just enough cushion that allowed for a perfect divot. Greens were also as good as I have seen in the area. Although firm, rolled true and I thought were fairly easy to read. Only visited one bunker, which was good condition. Overall, I thought the layout was good, mostly flat and straight, with a lot of mounds and bunkers. No mystery about any of the holes that I could recall. In some ways a typical resort style course that would funnel some tee shots headed down one side, back to the middle, once on the ground. The course did have a little more bite than although than a lot of resort courses. Played white tee, and feel like the back tees would be quite a bit tougher.Couple of driveable par 4's, which I always like, but on this day, failed miserably on both. A few nice water features. Only temporary clubhouse and bar, but friendly service throughout. I will recommend and will return. Enjoy!

I played the gk outing at Eagle Falls and teed off in the next to last group at about noon. I think the temperature got up to about 105, but there was and afternoon breeze that was literally a life saver. Course conditions were very good in every respect. Tee boxes, fairways and rough were about as good as one can expect for this time of year. The greens were smooth and medium speed and rolled true. As for the layout, I thought it offered a fair mix of hard and easy holes from the white tees. Speaking for myself, I think I would have been beaten up pretty badly if Johnny would have made us play the back tees. All in all, another fun gk event at a great venue.

Had a blast playing out at Eagle Falls this afternoon. Other than Mother Nature dropping the unrelenting heat on us all day, it was a great day. Enjoyed meeting so many GKers and getting to play such a great course. Course was in excellent shape and a fun layout overall. Service was great and they really took care of us with all the free water bottles they gave out. The greens were a bit firm for my tastes when it came to approach shots, but other than that I loved the course and the event. Great job Johnny for setting up the event at this course and I can't wait to participate in future GK Events for many years to come!

I have to give Johnny kudos for another great event and have to say that everyone I have meet at these events are just great people.If you have not played with us you are really missing out on great times.

FORGET "Worth the green fee" How about so "WORTH THE DRIVE!!!!"

Eagle Falls is my new Favorite course to play even though it's a long drive for us. My second time playing this course, the first time my wife has played it. I'm terrible @ picking movies but I sure can pick GOLF COURSES.

I've seen and heard courses charging DOUBLE the EAGLE FALLS rate, are in terrible condition and they don't care about their paying/playing patrons!

I had the privilege of playing this course sometime in January 2012, 4 months later? MAGNIFICENT playing conditions. I'd give it a "10" but to be fair 9.7 rating is d%mn good.

Look PAST the fact that the check-in area may look like upgraded trailers but once you are greeted by the staff as you load up your bags.

Putting green is identical to the types of undulations you'll find on the course and the pace/speed of the greens are exactly the same you'll find on the course. Nice little chipping/pitching area to work on feel etc.

Excellent practice facility, NO MATS just natural grass to warm up on the practice tee. Plenty of targets to aim approach shots and a very wide range (no nets) to make you feel uncomfortable.

Nice easy opening hole to start your round, best to work the ball left to right which will keep you from reaching the right hand bunkers.
Hole #7 maybe listed as 1 HDCP but play it smartly and you should be able to reach it safely in regulation.

Back nine, first two holes are very birdieable, get them quick because hole #12 is a "BEAST" 446 PAR 4 dogleg right to left. I made par which felt like a "birdie" FOLLOWED by Hole #13 which is at least 215 yards to carry the clean large water hazard directly in front of you. There is a DROP ZONE off to the left side of the "OWL" tee box.

Back nine also includes TWO drive-able PAR 4's offering risk/rewards.

What a great finishing hole!!!! Short PAR 5 but water on the left and a large green side bunker make you think about going for it in TWO!

Current course conditions are MAGNIFICENT down right immaculate.

Fairways are perfect with the rough being 2-3 inches at the most.
GREENS are so pristine, couldn't find hardly any of my ball marks, they are firm but putt so true and perfect speed! No surprises here from green to green.

Bunkers almost perfect, only found a few where the sand was a little more granular than the others which were soft to medium. THIS IS my only negative of the entire course IF I had to give it a slightly lower ranking than a "10".

Course has many flowers blooming at the right time and the high grasses just off the fairway add a little extra to the layouts.

Cannot wait to play in the GK event on Saturday! IF there are ANY available spots, GRAB them now...unfortunately the Coachella festival has jacked up room rates!

both days were perfect weather for golf, and the course was a treat to play. we did a stay and play package with the fantasy springs resort and booking tee times etc was easy and perfect.

Both days the course was in fantastic shape. From tee to green, the grass is lush, well manicured, and tough to find any bare/thin spots. really enjoyed seeing such a finely manicured course. The greens were rolling quite well although like any course sees unrepaired ball-marks from other golfers.

Holes are a little close to one another so a few errant shots end up coming your way, but just a small gripe in the grand scheme of things.

Overall the staff was good (guys in the pro-shop could SEEM a little bit more friendly) but everyone else out there was polite and helpful.

the only issue i had with this course was that on our 10:30am start, the round was 30 minutes behind on pace (4:21). waiting on every shot for 5 minutes was definitely a let-down on an otherwise beautiful day and course. the marshall was doing what he could to get things on track, however, he said it's due to the course loading everyone on at 8 minute tee-time intervals when it used to be 10. he encouraged me to leave my complaint with the pro shop since they wont change back unless they get some feedback on it.

in the future, i would definitely play here again, but would be in one of the first groups out to ensure i'm not out there for 5+ hours again.

a must-play at this price though!
