First of all, this is an immaculate course. service is very good with good starter and plenty of marshals checking on groups. play the Hawk (white) tees if playing for first time.

Some tight fairways but overall a fair test of golf. Not a flat spot on the course, lots of bunkers, and pure but tricky greens. So good that i was overshooting greens because the lies were so good and not used to that, same with putting (five 3-putts).

I would play again and worth $95.

Played Jan 21 after reading the good reviews and it turned out to be the best value in the valley. Great conditions nice mixture of par 4's, long and short with mounding hills bordering the fairways. This course should be a must play for any out of towners. My only complaint... our tee time was 20mins behind? with no frost delay that a.m. the starter couldn't explain, I think they jammed 2 foursomes in front of us, but pace of play was good.

Eagle Falls Golf Course is as good, if not better, than when I played it a few years ago. This time I got to play the rye grass greens and man were they pure and fast. This is a really fun golf course. So much so I went ahead and booked a Greenskeeper.org Event there for April 21st – Saturday. I’ll get registration posted in February. Anyway, Eagle Falls is in excellent shape overall. Fairways, lush. Rough, about only 2 inches but lush. Greens, pure, fast and firm. Tee Boxes, level, lush and groomed well. Bunkers, high quality fine white sand and groomed well…place is just beautiful. Got to say, the layout at Eagle Falls is blast. Love the mixture of risk/reward par 4’s and par’5 (although only three par 5’s). You can score well out there or get slammed. Fairways are generous yet stray a bit and you pay by finding a bunker or native areas with tall grass/desert vegetation. On approach, you’ll be dealing with forced carries, well protected greens that are all very pleasing to the eye. On the greens, be prepared for some severely undulating surfaces and difficult pitch shots. Love it.

Despite the course not yet having a clubhouse, the service was fantastic. Everyone there was professional and accommodating. Plus we saw the cart girl 4 times on a busy day due to a frost delay. Despite the frost delay we still finished in 4 hours 15 minutes. Excellent Pace of Play. Excellent golf experience. Highly Recommended.

Had the pleasure of playing with addictedtugolf; shebylo and johnnyGK today. While it takes a while to drive to the course from Redondo Beach, it is well worth it. We got a beautiful weather day and from the time you drop your clubs off and turn in your cart, the customer service is fantastic. This is an enjoyable course with everything in top shape. Level tee boxes; green fairways; well raked playable bunkers (lot's of them) and terrific greens. While the fairways and greens seemed slow on the front, it changed on the back after some warming sun. No water holes on the front, but several on the back. Water should not really come into play, unless you hit a really errant shot. More scenic and intimidating, rather than in play. The GPS system is top notch. Good size screen, great graphics and voice description of how to play the hole, when you arrive at the tee box. If you are looking for a golf course in great condition; excellent layout and a good variety of holes, look no farther than Eagle Falls in Indio. And if you decide to stay over night, they are located just behind the Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino and offer great packages. You can even drop the wife or significant other at the Cabazon Outlets on the way to the course and pick them up on the way back? That is if you can afford it? When looking for a course to play in the Palm Springs area, do yourself a favor and play this one. You will be glad you did. And yes, I did hear mention that there just might be a GK outing there in the future?

Played 1/16/12 with the Bro. in law and a nice couple from Indiana, Ron and Cindy. First time at Eagle Falls for all of us and we really enjoyed the course. $85, 4.5 hr. round after teeing off at 11:30. Everything was incredibly good including the customer service. Very nice scenery on most of the holes, on a gorgeous day. Great course layout and design. A must play when in the Palm Springs area. The only thing needed is a clubhouse, which as I was told is in the planning stages.

Eagle Falls in Indio, California. Played Saturday, 12/10/2011 with GK members Sbogey, Cpennbo, kviser, Moneysworth, and Fear. We teed off on time at 10:45 after the starter paired Fear and I up with Don and Danny, two good golfers from Seattle, Washington to make a second foursome. Kudos to Willy and his staff for treating us right and providing a course that was stunning to view from every tee box. The course is in the best condition I have ever seen it; Truly picture postcard perfect! The fairways were so lush you wouldn't want to mar them with a divot! Greens of velvet that rolled fast and true and showing evidence of the care that players were taking by fixing their ball marks. Sand was great and I even looked like I knew what I was doing when the ball was out in one! Tee boxes were in great shape and mirrored the care displayed around the course. The weather cooperated with a nice 77° day and very little wind. Although the course is beautiful, it is no pushover either! You had to make your shots count to avoid the hazards! Steve, thank you for setting this outing up. It is very much appreciated by all participants. I recommend playing this course to anyone who wants to have a PGA quality round with good friends that you will be talking about for a long time! Best rated. Highly recommended. Come out and play this course! You will not be disappointed, trust me, I know!

I hope I am not over the top with my rating, but Eagle Falls was in pristine condition last Saturday. Customer service and course conditions were top-notch. There may have been one or two areas that needed attention, but I did not see them. Greens were firm and fast. It was like putting on a pool table at times. Tees, fairways, and rough were fantastic. Maybe a little wet at the end of 18 fairway. Not an overly long course, but challenging and interesting to play. You will have an opportunity to hit every club in your bag; or in my case, every ball in my bag.

Played on 12/10 as a match play with fellow GKers. Course was in FANTASTIC condition! Really nice overall. This is a superb course, challenging from both forward tees without being impossible. Love the layout- enough really difficult holes to make sure you use every club in your bag mixed with just enough straight ahead holes to keep your self-esteem up! :-) The customer service here is top notch- they really make you feel welcome and valued- and they do care about their customers and their enjoyment of the course. I would gladly play here on every visit to the desert. The only downside is that they don't have a twilight rate. This time of year anything after noon is flirting with darkness.
