Only thing I would add to previous review is to do with maintenance on most of the greens.

Several had areas of resodding (around 10-15 sq ft per green affected) mainly around the edges but on one or two occasions right in the center (#15, e.g.). Other issues were some hex plug repairs (minimal) and some reseeding/sandy spots affecting patches of green here and there. Again, these were generally on the margins of affected putting surfaces but on a couple of occasions more in the middle of the green. Sometimes these same maintenance areas were located on the fringes or encroached into them. Just an FYI.

Sand traps crusty and rock-filled too.

Played today 7:50 tee time, got out at 7:30, 4hr15min POP.
Course is in very good condition in spite of the drought, had a ball go right side of fairway ended up next to what looked, and sounded like a pump. I assume they have wells or maybe reclaimed water. A few brownish areas but not bad.

Tees were reasonably flat with only a few un-sanded divots. fairways had some good roll, rough was brutal (for me), grabbed the club on some shots, any shots that came down on the rough stuck with no bounce or roll (Keep it in the short stuff"). Greens were on the slow side, looked a bit shaggy probably to protect them from the high heat days. Bunkers had decent sand, one was a bit thin.

Customer service was great from desk to starter to 19th hole, great green fee deal $37 senior rate. 19th hole was another deal - for 4 guys order the 4 street tacos, and the chicken quesadilla, one taco+slice of ques is perfect ending with good cold beer. We will be going back in a few weeks.

Played here 7/22 Shot an 84.. my first time playing here... Front 9 is definitely tougher than the back.. Fun lay out definitely will play here again.

Customer service was great.. from the pro shop guy, to the starter, to the guy that came and swapped out our car because we got a flat tire. They had a solid deal were we got a free sleeve of proVs.

Course was in fairly decent shape.. I am assuming because of the drought that is going on, a lot of the courses are being more conservative.. which i totally understand and accept why some conditions are what they are. The greens were rolling pretty decent even though they did cut slits on them to let some of the moisture out. I enjoyed my round POP was pretty good until the back but it still wasn't terribly slow. Will be coming back

Played Friday June 10, Course was in good shape, POP was 4.5 hours, actually a little long for us on this course but we waited every hole on the mens club in front of us. Tee boxes, and fairways were good. Greens were in real good shape, were a touch slower than usual. Traps were horrible, nothing but had dirt with a little sand on top. For some reason they had the course set up really short, some of the white tees were on the red markers. I really don't like when a course does this. We want to play the whites. put the rocks on the white plates. Since we were in a group play we had to play the tees as marked with the rocks. I think the course does this to try to speed up play on a friday. I am not a fan of this.

I've always been a fan of Eagle Glen but my last experience there on Jun 23rd was a little disappointing. I love the layout but the conditions of the course got worst since the last time I played here 2 years ago.

The fairways are dry, brown and thin, poor sand on the bunkers, and the tees present several divots. In the other hand the greens are green and rolled true.

Our cart had some issues with the gps, showing wrong distances, wrong holes and happened also it came to a complete stop on the cart path thinking we were riding on prohibited areas.

I don't know if the management changed since my last visit but I found a complete different course.

Apparently it was hillbilly day @ EG. One of my partners had basketball shorts on and should have been hitting from the ladies tees (and still suffering). Behind us were two aging rockers with music playing from their cart (can't we just have a general ban on that practice?) so you could hear the tinny Zeppelin beats from their I-phone every second shot). In this dept. and in terms of general golf quality, the place is slipping.

Overall - and this pains me to say it as I love the track - this was the worst condition I have ever seen it in. Even the greens, which are usually the stand out here were terrible. Tee boxes were either like hitting from a meadow they were so thick, or were lumpy and patchy at times. Fairways are thin and dry. I think they are 'thatchy' and they need to condition the soil - it seems more often than not you are getting a tight compacted lie with no chance of a divot. Sweeper golf. The rough is non-existent although they are optimistically outlining in dark green where they want it to grow in. Good luck as the bermuda is paper thin in these parts and the only rough is, well, the rough weeds that crop up in it occasionally. About half the fairway traps are being allowed to grow over and are marked GUR. Otherwise, the sand was thin coverage over a compacted base. Many had gravel in them and were comically full of footprints (you know the kind where it looks like someone took the most roundabout way through the traps by walking in endless circles to their ball). As for those greens, I expected them to be healed from aeration by now, and while there are no open holes, each one in terms of color looked like a waffle and putted like one. Super bumpy, slow and soft. No putts tracked on line. Around the greens, the fringes were heavy, thick and lumpy too and were in bad need of some mowing. You've all heard of the drought I presume? Hard to see how this place gets much better any time soon with the lack of water.

Got out to Eagle Glen on a beautiful Sunday morning. Because it was Mother's Day, the course was had far fewer players out than what I would expect for a typical weekend morning round, had I played better I would have finished under 4 hours, but instead finished right at 4 hours. Course conditions were decent. You basically had a tight lie in the non existent rough and an even tighter lie on the fairway, so the ball definitely ran once it hit the ground. The bunkers were mixed with sand and small rocks, they played more like waste area bunkers, very firm. Tee boxes were very lush and level, but I felt the grass was a little too long for a tee box. The greens were fantastic, very smooth and had decent speed. There were hardly any ball marks or dead spots, they did play a little firm. It's a great lay out, I will play here again.

Dry fast fairways with tight lies (normal for this area) but a decent amount of grass around the greens to get the fluffier lies. Nice level tees but a little too fluffy for my taste. Good sand in the bunkers but many of the bunkers that were out of play are marked ground under repair. Note*(i rated a little higher than normal. i dont think this place deserves a 5 conditions rating.

Booked an aeration special at the Glen for a Sat. morning round, $49, hoping the greens we're on the way back since it'd been almost two weeks since punching ... they need another two weeks but really weren't too bad. A bit slow, a few putts rolled off line as expected. The rest of the course is in okay shape: matted fairways so you gotta pick it, rough non-existent, never in a bunker but they looked playable. Was sorry to read the previous posters comments about the marshal, we did not have any problems ... PoP was 4.5 hrs and should have been much faster. Need to play early on weekends to avoid a long round but 6 hrs??? That's obscene. Anyway, I enjoyed my round at EG. There are a few challenging holes up in the canyons coupled with wide open birdie holes in the valley. Fun layout, and for 49 bucks, a good deal. Don't let the low rating detour you from playing here ... it appears it's caused by one person who has personal issues with the course. I will return after greens heal for sure.
