Again, Eagle Glen provided a great day of golf. The greens seemed to be not taken care of by the players. I played late in the afternoon and found a lot of ball marks unrepaired. The fairways were a little dry / fast but no bare spots. The staff provided great customer service.

At one time this was one of the best managed and maintained golf courses in the area. It was one I always looked forward to playing. This week I was totally disappointed by the conditions and general attitude I encountered. The fairways are a mess, either soggy, patched up, bare, or a combination of all three, some areas were okay. Bunkers were rocks with some sand, and mostly hard packed. Tee boxes were very unlevel and long, even extra long tees weren't tall enough. Too bad the management here isn't taking more pride in this place, it use to be a must play, now for the price, it is a must avoid. Play at Goose Creek, Trilogy, Empire Lakes, or in Beaumont, save some cash and play a good track. Let's hope this one comes back around

The fairway repairs are healing up great, The course is being watered (due to the heat) to keep the place in good shape, but this means a few wet lies. Great customer servive. Get there early to take advantage of the unlimited range balls before your round. The range is staffed with an employee to help your clubs clean (wow). Course is in great shape.

This is my favorite course. Very dramatic setting. Don't pay full price. Many discounts available including Play More Golf book and Golf extra. Lots of work going on on the course. More workers than golfers. Lots of the fairways were super soggy. Greens were smooth. Some ball marks. Tee boxes were in pretty bad shape. Many unlevel with lots of divot damage. I'd be ticked if I paid $80, but it's a great course for $40.
