All you golfers stay away from my track because it is playing really, really nice. We played on Friday, March 6, 2009 - my birthday in under 3.5 hours. It was like our own private country club.

I would love to challenge Cheeseburger - from Pasadena to a round at his own course because his reviews are really, really disturbing. It's like he grew up playing on PGA quality tour courses all his life. I have NEVER played on a perfect course. Sure, seen 'em on TV, but wake up and pay the green fees because he sure doesn't want to pay up. (Does anyone want to these days?).

Kudos to Nav and Jay for maintaining this hidden treasure.

One thing, I hope they get their cart situation fixed.

Just don't get it, when Oak Quarry and Goose Creek are just up the 15. Sorry guys over priced and a big cut below the other two!!!!!!!! Great views though.

Great challnging course. I played after (and during) rain and the course drained nicely. The greens were well kept and quick even when wet. This course requires every club in your bag and a wide range of shots. Accuracy off of the tee is key as the hills and shrubs just make it near impossible to find most balls leaving the fairway. All in all a great experience and well worth the green fee.

end up lost. The large greens don't hold well but if you play smart from the right tees it could be a fun track. Bring or buy water there are no coolers and this course produces long hot rounds.

First time actually playing this course (I toured it before I caught the golf bug). Although it rained heavily the day before, the course drained pretty nicely except for the bunkers with some standing water. Played a round with mob662 and had a really fun day there. Many forced carries which made me lose probably a dozen balls. Make sure you keep it in the fairway on this course because you probably won't find your ball in the hills. The course conditions were pretty good. Tee boxes weren't the best but the fairways were good and the greens rolled true. I really enjoyed my round there because of the beauty of the course plus the amazingly clear skies after the rain. I am so thankful that there was no rain while we played. The only thing was that it was really cold when we started and I could barely feel my fingers (probably was 40 or 45 degrees when we teed off). Overall, I had a great time here but bring a bunch of balls because you will be losing at least a few. One thing that this place could use would be GPS on the carts because its tough to find a sprinkler head.

(i didnt buy the course guide in the pro shop) as stated in previous reviews, gps should be added. tee boxes are ok, fairways lush, greens are excellent. saw the beverage cart twice, customer service was top notch. i will come back here again when weather conditions settle down.

Played 12/10 for only $15 with a b-day coupon from the website. What a deal! Course was in good shape, not too many people on it. The greens were in great shape and rolled very true. Pace of play was excellent, finished in under 4 hrs. A couple of long holes (#1 and #15 both par 5's) had cart path only. Wasn't in the sand at all, but some of them looked like they were just dirt instead of sand. This course is very challenging and one can loose a lot of balls if you don't hit it straight. I really enjoyed myself because of the price I paid, would definately come back.

All I can say is: It is almost unbelievable how conditions can change for the worse in just a couple of short weeks this time of year. Except for the greens (whice are O.K. - but nothing "great" anym... Continue »

All I can say is: It is almost unbelievable how conditions can change for the worse in just a couple of short weeks this time of year. Except for the greens (whice are O.K. - but nothing "great" anymore), I have absolutely nothing *GOOD* to say about Hidden Valley right now. Played on 12/6 - a Saturday morning. Not very crowded. I can see why. Maybe everybody else has seen what piss-poor shape H.V. is right now. It's embarassing! There are so many bare spots that it looks like cancer has eaten away the turf grasses. On #10, I hit the perfect drive, right down the right side of the fairway with a little draw on the ball....my shot took two hops to the left and up the hill....and then rolled 60 yards backwards until it hit some weeds and finally stopped on the left side of the fairway. It's ugly. It's been uglier (see some of my past reviews over the last six years...I've been a regular out at H.V. since they opened) - - but not by much.

I won't be back until I see some GK reviews indicating that things have changed for the better.

4.0 hours. Good pace.
