Played today 7:45 AM tee time got out on schedule. 4.5 hr round. The course is in very good shape, tee boxes are OK some are not perfectly level, but are playable. Fairways were lush and ran well with out too many divots. The greens were in great shape, held shot well and were running around 10 on the stimp, downhillers could get away, especially #17, watch the downhill putts. a few ball marks on some holes. The rough separates the duffers from the bogey players, long and punishing, but you should not be there to begin with. So take your lumps and move on. The only negative were the bunkers, mostly dirt and very little sand. Overall a good round.

Met the owner, he is trying hard to make it a good experience for everyone, was willing to listen to criticism, preferably constructive comments and not just whining. He will be trying to improve conditions on the bunkers, and on some trouble spots around the greens. Our 4some will be back, we try to play it at least 4 times a year as part of our itinerary. Jay - keep up the good work, we enjoyed it and hope to see you again. This is not a paid advertisement, just my humble opinions and shared by my 4 some.

The course was in the best shape I've ever seen it, but still more FLOG than GOLF. Steep sidehill lies, vicious slopes, huge outcroppings of rocks and long forced carries make it a trial to play, which is why this was only my 4th time ever on it and I play in the I.E. several times a week. It is my conclusion that this is a piece of land that God did not design for golf to be played upon, but someone thought that they should put a course on it nonetheless. Way too much hill climbing and cart path-only holes for someone in their 60's esp. in 97 degree temperatures. I have to say that the food and the service in the restaurant was some of the best I've seen at any course though!

Played here last Wednesday on the 15th at 7:30 in the morning. It didn't get hot until the last 6 holes or so, making play very enjoyable. I hadn't played here in sometime, probably because of the difficulty of the course and my beginner status. The fairways were in good condition as were the greens. I just wish they had more water around the course. Hot hot hot.

Played here today 11:15, They sent not one but two fivesomes off in front of us, one group was in jeans and tennis shoes, so you can see how the day started. We played the blacks and it is a lot of golf course from back there. Greens are very fast yet still holding shots well. They are drying them out for the weekend special (Thurs-Sun, anyone who makes it through a round without 3 putting will recieve a free round.) This place has so many blind shots and Blind carries without much help on the card. The range was closed, so no warm-up. Just a little too quirky of a layout. 1 or 2 blind shots in a round is fine but 7 or 8 just gets old and frustrating. Was not feeling the love today. There are too many other courses in the area just as nice or better that I can go low on and have fun doing it. Too much work here. Well at least I can check this one off my list. Next up Trilogy or Oak Quarry

Customer Service was fantastic. The range is funky...it's all uphill after 125 yards. Lots of damage on the fairways. Green was not bad compared to condition of the course. The layout of the course is really funky. They blocked off the cart path on Hole #11..so you have to drive on the Hole #12 cart path to get to the Hole #11 green. Watch out for golfers driving on hole # 10. Tons of elevation changes, great views, but for the price, there is much better options elsewhere. Will probably not be coming back.

I played Hidden Valley over the weekend on 5/30/09 for the first time. This is an awesome course, especially for the price ($50). The course was in great shape.. Fairways were in good shape and greens were very fast and rolled true. I have to say the the course is definitely an awesome looking course and well worth the money but is definitely not a scoring course. If you are playing this course for the first time it is definitely going to eat you up a bit.. Front nine is a little easier than the back (shot a 42 on the front, but shot a 50 on the back). You really need to know how the course plays to carry many of they hazards, especially in with the wind. So all in all.... If you are going out to shoot the score of your life, this is not the place to play... It is a 'fun' course to play once in awhile..

You will experience slow play here. It seemed the marshal did everything possible to keep play moving.. it is just a tough course so you have to expect it. Again, it is still worth playing if you haven't tried it yet. Have fun

Played HVGC for the first time on 5/22. Tee time of 1:40 with no one to play with for the first few holes until I slowed down to wait for the twosome behind me. Straight tee balls for the high handicappers or the ability to work the ball for single digit players is a must. I enjoyed the views and especially liked the conditions of the greens. Best greens in Corona/Norco area, in my opinion. A few holes are tricked up but all in all, a great golf experience.

I think the main problem here is that players who can't hit more than 220 yards straight drive are playing from the blue tees and taking mulligans. On every hole!

The course lost some of its lushness. The tee boxes are not leveled and grass is so thick that it's hard to get a good foot grip. The greens are still decent for the first few holes but the rests have plenty of bare spots.

This course is a joy to play from the black tees for all 250+ yards straight shooters. But if you are behind the usual weekend crowd, then you'd just want to go in to club house and have a cold one.

So if you're planning to spend your good $$s on the weekend with a good expectation of joyful golf, go somewhere else. You will thank me..

Tough, tough track. I managed to scrape it around to about my handicap by playing really conservatively and putting my *** off-but my grip it and rip it playing partner ran out of balls and had to borrow a couple of sleeves from me to finish his round. Lots of forced carries, blind shots and uneven lies. Course is in good shape generally, but for the money-Oak Quarry, Trilogy or Goose Creek are better courses in the neighborhood.

Staff is very nice and friendly, great attitudes. Food in clubhouse is delicious.
