Very windy most of the time and the target golf layout doesn't really play well here. Many balls hitting the fairway
end up lost. The large greens don't hold well but if you play smart from the right tees it could be a fun track. Bring or buy water there are no coolers and this course produces long hot rounds.

Its a good idea but it needs a redesign now before it gets worse. It has to many ditches sorry burns in front of the greens to play like a links course. The areas off the fairways are dirt ,weeds and construction waste. It needs a bunch of water to fill the burns, fill the lakes and green the place up. Its in a bad area , its hot ,windy or humid most of the time . The food and beverage manager should be fired , trust me on this one bring a lunch. On the plus side the course is original and the green fees are a good deal so give it a try but dont expect miracles.

VERY NICE, This course is expensive for the area but worth it once in a while , tee through greens are great the views are even better. No two holes look the same and every hole has a challenge. The club is very nice and the staff are great . Watch the weather and come on out play from the right tees and your gonna have a new favorite course

A nice old style course , not too long but mature trees make it narrow. The greens are big
and offer plenty of break. The fairways are wide in the right places and have plenty of cover , the traps are deep and water hazards are interesting . The staff is nice and the rate is fair. Drive down here to play then check out other courses in the area like the Welk and pala mesa.

this course was probably good and really tough when woods were wood. But it cant compete with modern tracks and the cheap rate helps only a little. The track is long and narrow in the wrong spots and to many raised greens and blind shots making holes tougher than the should be, the greens are good and the traps are very fair the par 3s are fun but beware anybody who tells you this is their favorite course is cheap or twisted maybe both.

nice track with good layout and weather. plenty long with big greens, lots of hazards to keep you honest and a good mix of long and short holes. beware the last 3 holes they are very tough 3 bogies are a good score.

Just renewed my residence card and with it this course is a great deal.
The cacua grass is the same turf as riveria and and torrey pines you get no roll but every lie is up. The greens are good but can get bumpy , they are large and can be fast. The lay out is top notch for a muni the range, putting green and new clubhouse are all open. Play it in the dead of summer and bring a sweater.

We love this course, its always in great shape and the greenest grass I have ever seen in the desert. Of the nine holes only a couple run next to each other and has more than its share of water hazards. The greens are mid size with plenty of break but they always seem a bit slow. The desert course is very flat and the wind can make it interesting. The club house
is a shack and there is no bar just a patio with a cooler. As is everybody
in town the course employees are very friendly.

I have been playing here for 20 years and it just keeps getting better.
Greens are small but have gotten really fast the last year or so. Expect to see deer around sunrise and sunset . The course is narrow but not long.
Good shots yield birdies bad shots will cost you a ball most of the time.
If you have 3-4 hours go play then have meal
