Played here on Tuesday the 3nd, what a mistake! 5 1/2 hour round, had the local players in front of us and the so called Marshall was absolutely worthless at what he was suppose to be doing , the course was wide open in front of the these idiots but by god they payed there money and nobody was going to rush them! To bad it used to be a fun little course, for a few $ more you can play what I consider a nicer course it the area in 3 1/2 -4 hours tops. its your call!!

Played 10/20/11. First time ever playing this course. Overall, I liked it a lot. Reminded me of Cresta Verde but in better shape. Scorecard shows barely 6100 yards from blues but the constant elevation changes make it seem to play longer. Par 3's are all challenging, so few easy scoring holes (for me, anyway).
Some great views over adjacent Rubidoux and Riverside. On this day, all tee-boxes had been aerated and heavily sanded. There are plenty of teeing ground options for most holes but too many are uneven. The greens were perfectly acceptable - a little slow and bumpy and lots of unrepaired ball marks. Rough was fair, fairways a bit rough - lots of stringy grass. Sand was good in the two bunkers I visited. Some nice lakes that barely come into play. Nice clubhouse bar and restaurant and all the staff I spoke to were very pleasant. I will definitely play here again.

The general condition of the course is average at best, but the greens were very nice, albiet a bit too slow for my taste. Stafff, as always was wonderful. I think that the back nine is so diverse and interesting, just a lot of fun to play! Not a big fan of the front nine however. Overall, a nice golf experience.

Just got back from the course today and it has gone down hill quickly. Can not explain it, fairways are getting bare, it's easier to putt out of bunkers than use sand wedge. Tee boxes were uneven and 1/2 dead, speaking of dead, greens were almost hard pan in some areas and it seems they are just dying. I like this course and I just hope they get it into the shape it was a month ago.

Yes, this track is entertaining and different due to elevation changes and and diversity of holes, but that only gets you so far.

Fairways: Fairly lush, but encountered some very thin lies. Also, it seems their lawnmowers were cutting the grass at an uneven angle. Weird.
Rough: Well-kept and fairly even with the exception of the St. Augustine areas. Tough stuff to hit out of.
Bunkers were firm and pretty consistent. Above average.
Greens: Now, this is where it hurts. Although they looked lush (and mostly were), they were way too bumpy and slow. Bad combo.
Customer service: Don't expect much here because there are no cart girls and/or bag assistants, but there is Edna. Very nice lady that has been there forever. Quite the personality and exuberance. (She's has done some silly things in the past like when I brought her a group of 20 senior golfers, but insisted on charging me the regular rate because I was only 50. Not very smart on her part, because since I'm the one that books our group every Wednesday, you guessed it, we didn't go back for over a year after that.)
Overall, I give it a 6 out of ten.

Drove all the way from AZ to play an afternoon round and was not disappointed. The elevation changes on this course are remarkable. Many elevated tee boxes and a few uphill holes. Don't be fooled by the short par 4's, while they appear to be pretty easy, any one of the MANY mature trees will jump out and take a bite out of your ball. The tee boxes were a bit of a disaster, very uneven, lots of divot marks (especially on the Par 3's) which make it tough to get a good stance. The fairways were in very good shape and the rough was long and lush, which makes you pay for not keeping the ball in the fairway. When you go make sure to park in the parking lot on the left, they do not allow carts in the parking lot and it can be long walk. The snack bar is GREAT (I recommend the breakfast burrito). There was no cart service during our round and there aren't many water coolers on the course. I strongly recommend this course for any player (beginner to advanced)!!! Definitely worth the green fee!! Enjoy

This course is in fantastic shape. Greens are fast and smooth. Rough is consistent and fairways are green. Well worth the green fee.
