Something has gone terribly wrong with the greens at this course...many bare spots contribute to a terrible experience....until the problem is solved, this is not worth the money nor the time to drive... Continue »

In all fairness, the fairways had recently been aerated, which impacted my perception of the quality of the course. Also, the greens has recently been sanded (they did, however, give us a $10 discount per player b/c of the conditions). The course was very forgiving - the fairways were wide and the rough was 2" grass. The pace was good, even though we played behind a group of five. I would play here again, during the week, as the weekend rates are too high for the quality of the course.

This is a very lush golf course. If you play in the morning you may encounter casual water due to overwatering. The greens are smooth and very soft. The ball will usually just land on the green and stop right there. There is lots of water on both courses. However, you have plenty of room to aim away from the water and still be okay. The pro shop people had a strange attitude. They would not let a single out on the course because they said I would interfere with maintenance. This was even after it had been light for an hour! well.....whatever I still had fun playing both of these courses. Despite both courses being very easy to walk you must take a cart. Oh well, I'll go run some laps.

as usual Menifee Lakes pulls thru, they got the Palms back into very nice condition, good greens good fairways, everything in order, a fun track, not toooo hard, but high #s are there if you dont watch out. Staff in the shop as always very helpfull and professional. One little matter that needs attention, while we applaud the greenskeeper Superintendent for a job well done his customer service manners need help. On a par three waiting for the green to clear we filled in several divots on the tee box to kill time, when we reached the green we were shouted at from the tee box by the boss who advised us loudly that we were using tooooooo much sand. we did not respond,kinda laughed it off as we were doing him a favor.. We love Menifee, the staff the course all of it, Great day, lots of fun..But remember,, dont use toooo much sand repairing those divots,, what a goof.

I haven't played here in 10 years ,so it was kinda nice to see how it has aged.Course was in great shape,except some of the fairways were severely soaked..along with a few sand traps too.Greens were in great shape,soft but rolling pretty fast also.Not too bumpy for a public course,we went off at 11:45 and finished at 4:15 so not too many people ahead of us.This course plays different in the morning than in the afternoon due to the wind...strong almost every afternoon. Guys in the pro shop were very accomodating as well due to the fact that the 91 had the fast-trac and 1 lane of the east bound freeway closed in the morning so they could clean...made me 15 minutes late for my tee time (which I got at click4teetimes.com).Guys said they had gotten calls from a bunch of people cancelling because of that,but 'NO WORRIES" and they got me out right away.I guess they could have said "Tough luck,you missed it" but they didn't,so THANKS GUYS !!! Would play again anytime...just allow yourself some extra time if you are coming from LA/Orange county.

Played right after heavy rains. The course was in great shape concidering they received 3 inches of rain over nite. Worth the price.

We have been on the Lakes course last few outings,today the Palms and we were impressed. Greens are very fast and tricky and fun,overall course conditions are very good and as we had an early tee time we did 18 under 4 hours. Very fun day, good course. We will be back..
