Just played the course and had a great time. The course was well cared for such that it was still green and lush, unlike many other courses which have been allowed to dry out during these winter months. Pace of place was good with the round taking 4 hours. The greens were consistent and in good condition. All in all a good experience and value. We will definitely go back!

Played a tournament on the Palms course shotgun start, 4.45 hr round, not bad by tournament standards, at least not for this group. Temperature was 34 deg when we started at 8:30 AM, 48 deg at 1:15 PM, some wind but not too bad, although some of the holes into the wind required low stingers and 2 club stronger on one par 3. Course was in decent shape but has been better.

Tee boxes were in good shape, not level but not really bad, some divot marks. Fairways were firm, some dry spots from the freeze, but were running well. The greens were firm, some had bald spots, mainly the back 9, not many ball marks, our group did good job of fixing them, freeze burn around edges of many greens. Bunkers, two I was in, were hard wet packed sand.

Overall, decent shape. Have played it under better conditions.

Sunday, Nov. 5th, the Palms course was in great shape. The greens perfect, which made the undulations tougher. The conditions were just as you wanted, slighly warm.
The only drawback was lack of restroom facilities. Enough drinking stations were available.

Played the Palm course 9/10/06 in a tournament, the course was in bad shape. I have played this course before and I have never seen
the fairways in such bad shape before. Hopefully it will improve.

Played on 6/23. Not sure what's going on w/that place, but as in previous post, this place is a mess. Greens shaggy, sandy. Conservatively, 30% of the course should be marked GUR. Only bare spots in process of re-sodding are so marked. There's dead spots, standing water that smell terrible, aeration plugs/holes at various spots on at least 75% of the holes, and not the small ones...hugh plugs. I'm not sure if it's a high water table or what, but there' standing water, roped off areas, areas not mown, muddy spots, etc, and it was about 100* today, so you can imagine what it felt/smelt like. Some areas look like they have lime deposits or something that has killed the grass...it can't be for a lack of water! Ive been coming to Menifee off'n on for as long as they've been there, but after today's high price, top dollar weekday tournament, I won't be back until I hear from reputable sources that the place is back to what it once was and should be. I'm hearing they're issueing coupons for $35....It's not worth even that. I'm sorry, but I really hope they get it back togehter as it is a nice environment for golf..just not now.

Played last Tuesday, course was in great shape.Played today,they should be embarassed.Should never have opened the Palms today,was closed for two days for repairs, HAH!!!!, today the greens were dirty,slow,uncut.shaggy,dumb, fairways were a swamp,actually in some places 1 inch of standing water. We thought maybe someone screwed up and left the water on too long, but the entire course was like this. Mud everywhere and all over us.
We like Menifee, but this was dumb a--s planning. We drive a ways to play,. we wont be back untill someone tells us its back to good shape. Dont go there unless you are sure,THEY wont tell you!!!!!!

The Palms is back to good maybe great shape, lots of fun, ya can score if your tee shots find the fairway. Greens are very nice, fairways good, bunkers and all the rest are just fine, senior rate is right for the drive. We play here often,happy its back in shape. Members must be happy again. Staff is always terrific.
