This is a regular stop on my SoCal visits when golfing with my non-golfing brother and friends. The course gets a lot of play and conditions are not country club but the price makes it a great value.

great layout, Slow round, but it was a holiday so, no biggy. As for the course, as a member pointed out, this is the worst it has been here in 16 years, why would you pay to play here. Well he was right, 5th time here and i will not go back untill someone is fired and they get someone in there that knows how to care for a golf course. You know there are problums when you rope off 200 yards in as ground under repair. the whole way!!!!!! This wasnt just one hole it was many. Greens were the worst i have played on. The first hole had sand on they green so deep it looked like bunkers on the green. I love this course but i cant go back for a very long time. when i asked a marshal about the course he said it wasnt in bad shape. Aparently he was paid to say that or he was blind. This course is well past an cry for help, it is a starving, three legged dog, thats about to die. Too bad maybe 6 or 8 months it might come back, but then they over seeded a couple of weeks ago and doesnt look at all like it. stay away....

The heat has taken it's toll on this otherwise beautiful course. Fairways have large brown/dirt areas. They are trying to recover and have vertical cut and reseeded the areas. Lots of roped off areas.... Continue »

The heat has taken it's toll on this otherwise beautiful course. Fairways have large brown/dirt areas. They are trying to recover and have vertical cut and reseeded the areas. Lots of roped off areas. 90 degree rule on carts. Greens are green, roll true and well maintained. Every green. Best part of the course. Staff and cart service were friendly and courteous. Staff gave us the choice of courses (Lakes or Palms) and stated Palms was in worse condition. We played Palms since everyone else wanted Lakes. Needs time to heal. Don't let the brown scare you off.

Great Golf Course. Even though the fairways are close to the houses, very rarely the come into play. Not crowded at all so the pace of play is excelent and the staff is impecable.

Fun course not to difficult, greens are nice. The only compaint is that it was a bit wet. Played early maybe thats part of it, but it was well worth the 35 bucks.

THE COURSE IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION, THE GREENS HAD BEEN AERATED, SO THEY ARE A BIT SANDY, BUT PLAYABLE. THE OVERALL GOLF COURSE IS LUSH AND IN GREAT CONDITION.THE TEE BOXES HAD A FEW DIVOTS, NOT REPAIRED BY "HACKERS", BUT THAT IS UNDERSTANDABLE FOR A PUBLIC COURSE. THE FAIRWAYS ARE LUSH AND MOWED TIGHT. THE ROUGH IS CUT FAIR AND PLAYABLE(1"-3"). SADLY THE SAND TRAPS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION ALSO, I SAY "SADLY" BECAUSE I WAS IN THEM ALOT TODAY. WELL, THE SAND IS FLUFFY, BUT NOT POWDERY, NICE TO PLAY OUT OF, IF YOU HAVE TO.
PACE OF PLAY WAS OK, ABOUT AVERAGE.(4 1/4)

Greens and fairways were aereated 2 days before, which we took into consideration. On a number of fairways were patches of turf that were under repair. The GPS carts were great, and even let you see how far ahead the next group was so we could tell when it was safe to hit. Overall it is a fun course and well worth the $34 internet special which included the cart.

courses is green as always, but the faiways are thin and hardpan. greens are different on every hole. better off on the lakes according to locals.
