Guys, played yesterday here again and I'm sorry to sound like a broken record but this place is pretty much perfect. How can this course NOT be No.1 in the Top 25?? I don't get it. Oak Valley is nice, but the Legends greens are in MUCH better shape. These greens are hard, fast and pure. Oak Valley has nice greens but not like here. Later in the month the PGA Tour will have 2nd stage Q-School at Oak Valley and I STILL think that the Legends greens will be nicer than over there. The only thing about the SCPGA Courses that I can gripe about is what flyboy1 said...It's getting way too expensive. Internet specials should be just that-special. Well, I've seen the price go from the mid 50's to almost 80 bucks a round on the weekend. Unbelievable. It's pricey, but I'll be back again. And looking forward to it.

played here the morning of Oct. 30. All I can say is WOW!! This course is green, lush, and SWEET! I've probably played here about 40 times and I have NEVER seen the course in this good of shape. This course is in better shape than many private courses right now. The greens are tight and FAST. Not a brown blade of grass anywhere. The rough, though not too penal, is cut evenly and is very uniform. There is one hole, hole #7 that had suffered from too much rain. The rough on the right side of the hole is a mixed with mud but it's not bad considering how much rain fell last week. The bunkers are all excellent with new sand and raked to a uniform thickness. The Champions Tour is having their Tour Qualifying here this week so that's why the course is in such great shape. If you want the best, PLAY HERE NOW. You won't be sorry. I realize it's a long drive for most SoCaler's, but you'll be rewarded 1000 times over. The words that come to mind are exquisite, pristine, perfect, lush, etc. I could go on and on so just get in your car, make the drive, and play here NOW!! Thanks SCPGA for a fantastic, super-conditioned golf course. Give that head greenskeeper a HUGE raise!!

Great course at a fair price. After the heavy rain, it drained well and left a little water in the sand traps. I thought it would be a swamp and it was not. Customer service was great, and pace of play was also good. $60.00 for a friday morning was well worth the drive. While others are still recovering from airation the Legends is in great shape.

What a pleasure to play a course in great shape this time of year! Fairways were immaculate, greens were smooth med. fast and held shots. Some sand traps were puddled, but thats understandable, where they were dry they were perfect also! Course has quite a few blind shots that make for a challenge, but with 4 sets of tee's accomodates all! Big greens withsome sloping. Overall at $66 on a Fri. morning some may find a little to pricey, but for what they deliver a GREAT value!!! I need to play here more often!

The Legends is definitely a tougher test of golf than Champions, even though both have very similar slope and rating. The price may be expensive, almost $90.00 on weekends without a discount, but they do know how to do things at this first rate public track. A must play facility, either course is quite exceptional.

Great course to play! Course is in superb condition and the pace of play is around 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Greens run true and fairways and tee boxes are excellent. It's a combo of target golf and links style. Highly recommend this course to all, except first time golfers.
