played 12/17,,,OK, one month ago the place was in very good shape BUT now with the colder weather and the dormant OVER watered fairways and greens under weather damage now I could not recommend this course till maybe JUNE. Why would you over water non-over seeded dormant warn weather grass? Like so many public courses they would have been better served to close down for a month and over seed with winter grass both fairway and greens...but with so much play because of Covid they have stretched the course too far.

Played 12/5 4 hour pace, greens small and in good shape...fairways dormant but for the most part good coverage...played here about 6 times this year and always score well as this is one public course you get good lies close to the greens and can pitch and chip very easily to the small greens. They have a set of gold tees that are super friendly for us older guys and gals..nice to have short iron ih on many par fours, as it should be.

Played this morning. Best conditions I’ve seen here ever and I have been playing here since 99. Tee to green golf course was excellent. Rough was terrible, but I try not to play from there. The only downfall was checking in. I walked in and he said good morning and I responded is it. He snapped and said he didn’t need any of that s——-t this morning. Oh well everyone has a bad day I guess. But course was excellent. Hd is 13 play twice a month.

Played Seven Hills yesterday. Teed off at 10:40 and finished in less than 4 hours. Amazing for a Saturday. Course recently over seeded and they did a great job. First day that the fairways were open to cart traffic using 90 degree rule. Greens were very good and healthy but a little slow which is expected given the recent triple digit heat. Very good layout and value.

Early Saturday morning round in slightly over three hours after passing a slow group on the tenth. The staff and carts are very good. The tee boxes are almost all a little weathered but in ok shape. The rough has thinned out in places but still enough of a deterrent to stay out of. The traps were all maintained very well but many were damp. The greens are in great shape with not too many ball marks. They sped up throughout the round and roll very true. I really enjoy this course and the rates are very fair. Recommend again.

Played Seven Hills for first time Sat. 6/13 @ 10:20 w/Uncle Jim and Vic to help me keep my game #resh for my pending 6th match. Vic will be a new daddy with his new baby girl this Wednesday, happy to treat him to his last round for awhile! 7 Hills is a gr8 course in great shape right now for a great weekend rate of $40 per hacker. Range(mats) and putting greens(cups w/o flags) open, greens have upside down cups, flags and a 2" sch40 plastic coupler(I like this better than foam in cup). Plenty of carts, the drink cart came around 3 times, and POP was 4.5 hours. Tee boxes are fine, sand bottles are on the carts, and sand buckets are available on every other hole to refill bottles. Went thru almost 2 sand bottles looking after tee boxes and fairway divots. Fairways and rough are on par. Not much H2O and not many fairway bunkers. Fairway and greenside bunkers are nice, real sand...refreshing and old school!!! Greens are soft and ate everything we threw at them from all distances. Putting was fast/med, except #17 which was fast/fast. I dare you to find smaller greens than 7 Hills...my kind of place!

Early am round in four hours behind a very sloooowwww group of old weekday hackers! The staff is good but the facilities really show their age in the clubhouse. The carts are nice and they have over seeded the course which is great nowadays for an affordable course. The tee boxes had good coverage but a few were very sloped and pretty rough. The fairways were in good shape providing nice lies for shots into the greens. The rough was thick to thin and pretty rough around the edges (just keep it in the fairway). The traps all had an abundance of wet fluffy sand. If you were lucky enough to find yourself in one getting out was not fun. The greens were in very good condition with only one having a bad patch of grass due to a mower it appeared. The greens held shots well and were free from ball marks. The speed of the greens was a little slow for my liking but held the line and rolled nicely. The price and conditions make this basic course a bargain!

Ohh man. Chased my ball through Seven hills today! They are still running their overseeding deal of $25 for anytime before 1. Then $20 after 1.

No driving on the fairways for the whole course. Be patient and ready to walk. They only have cart paths on the par 3’s, so the rest of the course is a bumpy ride!!
The front 9: healing very well! The tee boxes are lush and freshly cut. This is an old course, the tee boxes can lean a little front to back or whatever, but no mounds. The fairways are beautiful. You can’t drive on them. They have those beautiful mower lines you see at more expensive courses. The greens are still repairing. Sandy and wet, you can still see the holes. They did have some bare spots on the greens. The rough was thick and thin. Normal for this course.
The back 9: healing ehh. This side was not mowed. So, teeing up your ball was fun!! All of the tee boxes were FUZZY! Once they are mowed it will be GREAT! The fairways are repairing nicely. They are also fuzzy, but will be cut by tomorrow. Some spots are repairing nicer than others on this side. But the greens on this side are far more repaired. The greens on the back 9 are less sandy and a little firmer than the front. They still have some repairing to do.

Early am round in under four hours on a very well conditioned course. Staff was friendly enough and doing their jobs. The facility is old but in good shape with a small driving range and two small putting greens. The tee boxes were all level with good coverage but a few needed a trimming of the clover. The straight tree lined fairways had very good coverage with only a couple thin/bare spots throughout the round. The rough was a few inches long on most holes and usually very thick kikuyu that made it difficult to hit the necessary shots. The traps were all very damp with newly placed sand. I was not in any but they needed a little trim and a good raking. The extremely small greens were in very good condition and held shots well. The green size was more likely what you would see on a par 3 course. Some of the greens were very soft and provided no roll as the ball disappeared into the turf! The course has a few dog legs and two or three holes with water features that really don't come into play. The green fees are very reasonable for what you get. This is a course that is easy to walk and great for the senior golfer or someone just learning to play. Recommended
