Always a fun golf course! However I'd hoped the greens would be better, it isn't that they were bad, they were just soooo slow! I am not used to playing on greens this slow and struggled getting the ball to the hole. Otherwise the course presented itself nicely. With the Donovan's discount. ($40 plus 2 bottles of water) it is really a bargin. Try to include this course at least once a year on "our rotation". Nice variety of holes and not too tough - a nice change of pace!

played sunday 7/1, 9am, 2some, finished 3 hrs. like many previous reviews, i was in the "never coming back" camp, and it's been at least 2 years since i've played here. but after reading some of the latest reviews, i decided it a try, combined with able to get a last minute tee time and an email special... well, let me say... wow. what a turnaround. The greens were excellent. not slow, not super fast, a very good speed, fairways were not muddy, a few bare spots, but not anything major. i've always liked the layout.. and now i may actually come back, especially if it stays not busy.

I played this course in April, and was very dissapointed in the condition of the greens. What a turnaround. The greens were actually in good shape, minus some sporadic poa growth. Putts rolled smooth and true. I was suprised how quickly the greens improved since my last visit. I think the 9th hole was the only one that still had excessive ball marks. The rest of the greens were in descent shape. I don't have to talk about the rest of the course since it's in excellent condition. Also, they put new white sand in the traps, which is also an improvement. You combine the improved course conditions with an already interesting layout, and you get a great golfing experience. If you stopped going to Trilogy because of the greens, it's worth visiting again.

The only thing is that they are sort of slower than they appear. They roll pretty consistent from green to green. Playing from the tips makes the 2 long par 3s on the back very challenging. Good course to challenge your ability to manage your game. A lot of elevation changes from tee boxes to fairways to greens.

I'm Bandini, I am an SOB. Played this course 6/22/07 Well, me and my buddies took this course out of our rotation becasue the greens SUCKED. This was one of my all time favorite places too play. Just a fun course. They really let the bent grass go. The asst. pro said they had replanted with poanna (sp?) and the greens are coming back.

The course gets too much play for bent grass, so poanna is what it has to be. Well it's coming back finally and will have a good putting surface. It was long and slow when we played, but should be perfect after it's cut and rolled.

Other than that, always good service, and the rest of the course was in good shape. Will put this back into the rotation. Had not palyed there in 8 months.

First time 6/4. A beautiful course in good shape. One complaint: the unrepaired divots on the greens are a disgrace. There should be reminders given in the pro shop, by the starter, in the golf carts, near the greens, with a marshall policing. Trilogy's a tough course to maintain; the golfers ought to help a little.

Played on 6/07 early morning tee time. Had read recent posts and wasn't expecting much, but was nicely surprised. The greens are quite playable, though not very fast, they are again smooth and look like greens. This is a very good layout, great variety of holes with most showing lots of character and playability. The two par 3 holes on back nine are two of the most difficult in the area to score well on. Both require very long tee shots to undulating greens. Carry distance on both is well over 200 yards from the tips. People rave about the 18th because of the severe elevation change, over 200 feet vertical drop, but the rest of the course easily holds up to this one. The drive from the 8th green to the 9th tee is something right out of Disneyland, great use of waterfall, running water and plant life. During hot summer days it is a refreshing respite from the heat. The course looks to be on the mend, and if you get a special is very worth the fees, lets hope the greens continue to heal and return this course to it rightful place among the must plays in the area.
