Played 5-27-13. Course opened for the season 2 weeks ago. It still has a way to go to be fully ready. They have made several improvements again this year. Most notably the green on #8. This green used to slope severely from back to front. So much so that it was common to putt from below the hole and have the ball roll back down and past you, sometimes into the water. They have leveled the green and made it a bit bigger. Some tee boxes have been leveled and expanded as well. The bunkers were in better shape than they have been in a while with soft fluffy sand. The greens have a long way to go. Very bumpy with a couple that are almost unplayable. As always you must putt like you want to go past the hole by 5 feet and you should reach the hole. Right now they do not roll true. I will play here again because its local and convenient and if you are in town it is worth a trip for a casual round but not if you want a quality course. Price is too high but again its the only game in town so we are stuck with it. Give it a few more weeks and it will get better I hope. At least the staff is trying hard to make it worthwhile. The driving range is nice but mats only. There is a small practice green and a bunker and chipping area. We played the first 9 in 2 1/2 hours and the second 9 was slower. 5+ hours is a slow round for a par 35 course.

Played 7/25/12. Course is coming along fine. Fairways are filling in nicely, greens although still slower than most are coming along. This is a great time to come up and check it out. Only negatives are the bunkers, which are getting better and some of the tee boxes have humps in the middle and make a good stance a bit tough. Overall the best its been this early in the season.

Played 7/18. Fairways are well healed from their over-cutting. Greens are looking NICE but still rolling slower than I'd like to see them. New tee boxes are seeding in well. Course is looking pretty good in general. But they need to get their course management under control! There was a local women's group out for their weekly shotgun start AND then they also put a family reunion group of 6 or 8 cart-fulls out too! That's a minimum of 44 golfers trying to shotgun on a 9 hole course!! THREE and a HALF HOURS for 9 holes!!! Ridiculous.

Have played here a couple of times in the past week. Course is in OK condition. The greens are rolling pretty true and most are decently fast. The fairways? Somebody didnt' know what they were doing, cut them WAY too short- and burned them badly. So there are some major dirt patches in the middle of a few of them. The greens dont' hold overly well but that is more a result of the elevation and environment- which means a short playing and maintenance season. Still, this course is a LOT harder than it looks with it's narrow fairways, and abundance of hazards and elevation changes. Holes 1,2,3,5,6 are downhill and all the rest are uphill. Hole 8 is completely over water. (forward tees are from an island in the MIDDLE of the water) Definitely worth playing if you're in the mountains!

Played 10-2-11. Course is in the best shape all year. Greens are running fast and true. Tough to read at times. Since the course will be closing in another month if your thinking of trying this course do it now. The sand is the weak link. Better than earlier this year but still tends to be a little hard packed. Some tee boxes are not level but they keep working on them so eventually they will all be level I hope.

Been playing here weekly all summer. Its been in absolutely fantastic shape. The greens were in the BEST shape I've ever seen them. And then they verticut and sanded them. This course is only open from Mid-May to Mid-Oct so to do major maintenance on the greens in early Sept is just ridiculous. The management of this course needs to wake up and realize they have customers. Bad enough the price is atrocious you should at least get value for your dollar.
