BOY this course is a blast...... my all time favorite! Played yesterday and had a great time! I was a single and played with 3 other guys. They were all decent players too. Them greens looked nice but were slow and spongy. Fairways similar to most rough and no roll. For the price it was worth it. I used to play the course back in the early 80's when the greens were perfect. Staff is fine, got me out in 20 minutes during the twighlight rush + I had a bag of beer and they didn't care!

greens were great, fairways not bad, pace of play great on a friday..didn't wait too much, easy to get on and great price..i recommend the chino creek over the butterfield for the challenge...

Played Friday 6/03/11 Tee time was 7:59 was sent out right on time. Starter was pleasent and promt. Course was in very good shape. The pace of play was good 4 hours and twenty minutes. Fairways were very well maintained and lush,and the rough was mostly trimmed short enough that your ball was not buried beyond retrieval. The only thing that seemed to need attention were the sand traps, it might help if they could have someone rake them to break up the compacted sand after the overnight watering.There is enough sand in the traps but it never seemed to dry out. Good bargain senior rate with a cart is 30.00 can't do much better than that.

They have a new greenskeeper (2 months ) and he is doing a fine job. You can now tell when you have hit in the fairway or the rough. 2 different cuts. Worth the $$$

Course is currently in the best shape I have ever seen it. Fairways are a little shaggy and the greens are a touch slow but overall in good shape. 40 bucks for 36 holes isnt a bad deal either.

course not busy due to Easter and overcast weather, played in 3 1/2 hours. course in very nice shape and #7 is open again. green speed is medium and smooth.

Played on Saturday 3/19. Everything is excellent except the golf cart. It is old and the motor is too noisy.

Played Chino Greek in the drizzle Fri. 17th. Great staff always friendly and helpful. The course was a little damp but playable. This course seems to get knocked sometimes when it dosen't deserve it. Sure ther are some yellowing spots in the rough,BUT IT IS WINTER AFTER ALL. And the fairways were in very good condition, the sand in the traps was as good as any other course out there and the greens while a little bumpy were rolling straight. The best thing was that it only took three hours and fortyfive minutes to play and the fact that the greens fees are still just twentyeight with a cart Yahoo!!
