NOT TOO MANY TREES, SINCE THIS COURSE IS NEW (2000), THE TREES HAVE NOT MATURED YET. BUT, THERE ARE ALOT OF SAND TRAPS LIKE ON EVERY HOLE, SO CLEAN UP YOUR BUNKER GAME, OR PLAY CAREFUL TO THE MIDDLE OF THE FAIRWAY, IF YOU CAN? THE GREENS ARE ALSO PROTECTED WITH BUNKERS ON A NUMBER OF HOLES. THE FAIRWAYS AND ROUGHS ARE PLAYER FRIENDLY. WITH A FEW HOLES ON AN ELEVATED GREEN IT WILL MAKE IT NECESSARY TO SELECT THE RIGHT CLUB. THE GREENS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION, BUT, STILL TOUGH TO READ. YOU WILL ALSO ENJOY THE PAR 3 #4 AND #6, OVER WATER, THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL GOLF HOLES, WORTH LOOSING A BALL OR TWO JUST TRYING TO MAKE IT ACROSS. BE SURE TO TRY THE SUNDAY BRUNCH HERE IF YOU CAN, IT IS GOOOD. THIS IS A COURSE I WILL PLAY AGAIN.

Very straight forward holes, nothing tricked up or hidden. Excellent greens, easy to read, but fast. Need to stay below the hole.

have really got to learn how the fix ball marks
on the greens. I had to fix at least 3-4 on each
green. Pace of play was just over 3.5 hours and
the weather was perfect. Did not play all that
well but, I can't blame the course for that.
Excellent course with good rates and great staff.

Played 2/22 after steady rain overnight. The course drains very well. Only a couple of soggy spots. As always, the staff is terrific, the course is in great condition, and it's fun to play.

i love playing here. the marshalls keep play moving but you never feel rushed. the course is in fantastic condition. greens received long irons well. some of the traps were a little hard packed but overall this is a very playable course with a few high risk high reward opportunities. one of the nicer places in my opinion to play.

Played 1/28, and I gotta agree with RudeDog, S.L. is in fantastic shape. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. The greens were a little hard but held. Also, I want to say how happy I was to not spend 5 minutes fixing ball marks, since it seems people are starting to get the message. The greens were smooth and if you were above the hole, YES they are quick. Get out and play this beauty since it is in great shape and doesnt cost you an arm and a leg to play it.
