Last played on 10/7. This is a good value for the money. Hills make it play longer than the yardage. The people are very nice.

One of the best values around SoCal. The people are also very nice.

One of the best public courses in Orange county. It's always in good shape. The biggest drawback is a slow pace of play and they put out a lot of fivesomes. A fun course to play.

This place is very consistent. Not the most challenging layout, but a fun course. Pace of play is pretty good and it'ss worth the money.

They need to close this course, fire the maintenance head and grow some grass in the fairways and rough. We hit off bare dirt in most fairways all day. This is probably the poorest conditiones course that I have played in Southern California in 20 years.

Played on 9/15. The greens were terrible. They were not cut for at least two days. The putts actually wiggled on their way to the hole. They keep advertising that it's in the best shape ever. I don't see it. My money is better spent elsewhere.

This place is not very well managed. Consequently play is slow and we did not see a ranger all day. Nice layout, in reasonable shape, but needs some people who are customer service oriented and attention to pace of play.

Played on 4/21. Course was in reasonable shape. The greens were fairly fast and the bunkers were good. Play was very slow for a weekday. Started out as a twosome, then got joined by a single on 4. He quit on 11, but another single joined us on 11. Very disruptive to your concentration. I like the layout, but I don't think that it's managed very well. Mike

Played on 8/4/04. The course was in excellent condition for a new course. The fairways are much wider than they sometimes look, but if you miss them you are in environmentally sensitive areas that require a one stroke penalty. Some of these areas were just dirt, so I don't understand it. There are quite a few elevated tees and the fairways roll pretty well, so the course plays a little shorter than its yardage would indicate. Many greens are very large and the day we played they were being sanded or fertilized. The putts still rolled true, but some were slightly slower than expected. There's a nice cool breeze and it's refreshing to play without houses all around. This course is definitely worth the money. Probably the best value in Orange county next to Costa Mesa Public Golf Course.

Played on 6/23/04. First time to this course. It has many beautiful holes. The traps are a little heavy and the fairways on the front nine needed to be cut. The greens were very good, but slower than they looked. It's a very interesting layout. It's great to play in the open spaces without houses, but the course still has a lot of tight holes. This is certainly worth the trip to Riverside. It's only 45 minutes from Irvine. You can get a $50 coupon from golfq.com.

This course is not worth $80. The fairways and tees were terrible. Very wet in spots while other areas were burned out. It has gone downhill since a year ago. Go to SCGA or So Cal PGA.

Played on 5/12/04, course in very good shape. There are a lot of quality golf holes here, although 15 and 16 are weak. There is a lot of construction around the course, but this is a good value for the money with a wide variety of tees for everyone. This is a good value and worth the drive.
