Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!TRILOGY WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT A NICE COURSE I HAVE EVER HAD. THE PEAOPLE THAT WORK THERE ARE HORRIBLE. IT IS REALLY A SHAME AS IT IS A NICE COURSE. WE TEED OFF AT 11:30AM AND DID NOT FINISH IF YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT. WE CALLED TWICE FROM THE COURSE AND THE STARTER SAID HE WOULD SEND SOMEONE OUT TO SPEED UP PLAY. NEVER HAPPENED. WHEN WE CAME IN WE COMPLAINED TO THE STARTER ABOUT SLOW PLAY AND HIS COMMENT WAS "WERE THEY ASIAN" WHICH IN MY OPINION WAS AN OFFENSIVE REMARK. I ALSO TOLD HIM I COULD HAVE PLAYED A MUNICIPLE COURSE FASTER AND HIS RESPONSE WAS "YOU PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE". WE CALLED THE MANAGEMENT CO. AND ANYONE ELSE WE COULD TALK TO AND NOBODY REALLY CARED OR TRIED TO HELP US OUT IN ANY WAY. THEIR ANSWER TO EVERYTHING WAS "WE CAN'T CONTROL THE TYPE OF GOLFERS THAT COME OUT. THE STARTER STATED THAT THEY BOOKED 2 TOURNAMENTS AND EVERY TEE TIME BUT THEY HAD NO MARSHALLS THAT DAY. SOUNDS LIKE THEY CAN'T CONTROL THEIR OWN PERSONELL LET ALONE THEIR COURSE. IT TRUELY IS A BEAUTIFUL COURSE BUT THE IDIOT'S THAT WORK THERE AND AND THEIR COMMENT WILL KEEP ME AWAY FOREVER. AND I'LL MAKE SURE EVERYONE I KNOW STAYS AWAY.
i love playing here. the marshalls keep play moving but you never feel rushed. the course is in fantastic condition. greens received long irons well. some of the traps were a little hard packed but overall this is a very playable course with a few high risk high reward opportunities. one of the nicer places in my opinion to play.
played a twilight round and play was exceptionally slow. to many players spending way to much time looking for lost balls. greens were in horrible condition due in part to inconsiderate golfers not fixing ball marks. course is very narrow and unforgiving. either you hit it straight or else kind of course. fairways are gorgeous but no matter what you will not have a level stance. even from the whites this was a frustrating round.
played 2/21. this course is amazing. the staff is fantastic, and the course is perfectly maintained. very tight and deceiving holes. play from the whites if you are a high handicapper or it will definetly be a long day. this is a must play and i can't wait to get back. every hole you have play smart, you can't just try to drive it far.
course is a long hitters dream. wide open fairways invite you to give it a rip but get in the trees and it will be a long day. course always plays slow 5 hours plus.
played today and really enjoyed the challenge. some holes are extremely narrow and with perfectly placed sand traps that i found all day. course was in good shape overall. there is a lot of water ( isn't there brian 365) that comes in to play. play from the whites unless your a real low handicapper.
brian should grab a cobra 427 driver and try again. but i do agree the course has gotten bad quickly and is slated for destruction starting february 14th. of course they have been changing the day for a year and half now. rumor is they are going to change the name and raise the price. and brian365 all it takes is a gym membership and a cobra 427. TRUST ME!!!!!!!!
a great value. this is a fun yet difficult course. you must be straight off the tee or the tons of trees will definatly add strokes to your score. high handicappers play from the whites to avoid frustration and have a fun round. usually a five to six hour round as is tipacle on all long beach courses.
i don't see what all the fuss is about. it was in good condition but i've played better for a whole lot less. the staff is fantastic and it truely is like a private club experience, but in my opinion the course needs more attention in order to justify the high price.
played this course on 1/23. the course was in fantastic condition except for the greens. the greens were very thin and bouncy. there was a lot of unrepaired ball marks thanks to a lot of unthoughtful players. over all the course was a blast to play and i can't wait to get back.
COURSE IS USUALLY IN GOOD CONDITION. THE FAIRWAYS CAN BE HARD WITH SOME BARE SPOTS. THE GREENS ARE USUALLY SOFT AND FAST WITH CLEAN,SOFT SAND TRAPS. THE ROUGH TENDS TO BE THICK AND AT TIMES HARD TO GET OUT OF. LOTS OF TROUBLE TO BE FOUND ON THIS COURSE. A LOT OF FUN TO PLAY WITH A FEW DRIVEABLE PAR 4'S.
